William Ellsworth married Hannah Cotter on 4 October 1801 at Nobleborough, Lincoln Co., Maine. William Ellsworth died on 1 April 1849.^1,2 He was buried at Mount Abram Cemetery, Salem, Franklin Co., Maine.²

     William Henry Ellsworth also went by the name of Whistling Bill. He was born on 9 February 1828.¹ He was the son of William Ellsworth and Mary Polly Dolbier. William Henry Ellsworth married Eunice Knapp Blanchard in 1852. William Henry Ellsworth married Susan Clark in 1858. William Henry Ellsworth died on 8 February 1863 at age 34.¹ He was buried at North Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, Franklin Co., Maine.¹
