Mrs. Elizabeth C. Lugenbeel, who died Saturday morning at the home of her niece, Mrs. Jason Hood, 2327 Barclay street, was born in Unionville, Frederick county, Maryland, and was 70 years old. Her husband was the late John Henry Lugenbeel, of Frederick county.
Mrs. Lugenbeel moved to Baltimore 10 years ago with her daughter Emma, who died three years ago. Since that time she had been making her home with her niece.
She leaves two sons. They are Prof. W. E. Lugenbeel, president of Austin College, Effingham, Ill., and Prof. C. S. Lugenbeel, president of the Fort Smith Commercial College, Fort Smith, Ark.

MERIDIAN - The funeral for Elbert E. Luhr, 87, of Meridian, who died Monday, Jan.12, 2015, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, at the Ustick Baptist Church, 14301 W. McMillan Road in Boise. Pastor Phil Moran will officiate. Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell.
Elbert was born June 4, 1927 in Caldwell, Idaho, to Frank and Mildred Luhr. He was so precious there are no words to tell how much he touched the lives of every person he met. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mildred Luhr; his sister, Phyllis Lyon; and his wife, Ellen. Elbert is survived by his brother, Delmar; his three daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Benny Greene, Kathy and Ted Hunt, and Vicki and Jerry Simmons; as well as seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Alverda Noel, 79, died Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at CNC Unit of Northwest Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, October 11, 2002, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, MN, with Reverend John Wollenzien officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be 5 " 8 PM, Thursday, October 10, 2002 at the Johnson Green Funeral Home, Thief River Falls, MN, with a 7 PM prayer service and for one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.

Alverda Mae Lund was born January 31, 1923 in Thief River Falls, MN, the daughter of Frank Edwin and Alice (Haugan) Lund. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Faith. She grew up in Thief River Falls and graduated from Lincoln High School. She also attended Aakers Business College for 2 years at Fargo, ND. Alverda served as a Yeoman in the U.S. Navy and was stationed in New York.

On April 19, 1944, Alverda was united in marriage to Duane Frederick Noel. The couple made their home in Thief River Falls. She retired in 1988 from Bridgeman Creamery, where she worked as secretary over 40 years.

Alverda was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Legion Ecklund-Holmstrom Post #117. She enjoyed sports and the Minnesota Twins. She especially loved spending time with family, grandchildren and friends.

Survivors include daughter, Joy (Neil) Gillespie, Thief River Falls, MN and son Mike (Ruth Ann), Custer, SD; 6 grandchildren, Brian and Steve Gillespie, Nick Noel, Danny and Kristie Larson and Kyle Loeffler; 2 great grandchildren, Cole and Elle Gillespie; a brother, Lloyd Lund, Thief River Falls, MN.

Preceded in death by parents, husband, Duane in 1989, daughter Julie Larson, sister, Jane and brothers, George and Dennis.

Tracey, on 12 June 1946 at Lake Co., Montana.2,3 Arnold Orville Lund died on 18 August 2005 at Kalispell, Flathead Co., Montana, at age 88.1,2 He was buried at Highland Cemetery, Havre, Hill Co., Montana.1 He was cremated.2

KALISPELL - Arnold O. Lund, 88, a retired farmer and World War II veteran, died of natural causes Thursday at Brendan House in Kalispell.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Johnson Mortuary of Kalispell. Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Havre.
He is survived by children Jeanne (Carl) Thomason of Aurora, Colo., Sherry (Harry) Wood of Bigfork and Larry (Connie) and Stanley (Micki) Lund of Havre; two brothers, Ole Lund of Phoenix, Ariz , and Ivar (Helen) Lund of Redlands, Calif; a sister, Ann Lund-Miller of Wauneta, Neb; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Arnold was born Aug 29, 1916, to Olaf and Lena Lund, in Simpson. Mont. He married Ethel Boice on June 12, 1946.
Arnold served in the Army Air Corps in the beginning of World War II, then transitioned into working for Boeing in Seattle, building B-27s and B-17s. He then came home to Simpson (north of Havre), and farmed the place his parents homesteaded when they arrived here from Norway. After retiring, Arnold and Ethel lived in Havre, then moved to Chinook, Mont., for a short period of time before moving to Bigfork, Mont.
Arnold was preceded in death by his bride of 57 years, Ethel; and a son, Allan Lund.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
