Bartlett-Bucholz

LaVerra Bartlett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Bartlett of Bigfork, and Kenneth Bucholz of Wolf Point were united in marriage at a ceremony performed in the Trinity Lutheran church of Kalispell by Rev. Eugene Klug.
Given in marriage by her father the bride was attended by Leta Bantz as matron of honor. Jack Bantz of Bigfork was best man. Mrs. Henry Schoknecht played the nuptial music and accompanied Coby Ferguson, who sang.
After the wedding, there was a reception. The young couple then left on a wedding trip to Glacier and Yellowstone parks and a tour of the Black Hills. They will reside at the bridegroom's farm at Wolf Point. Mrs. Bucholz graduated from Bigfork high school and the bride groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kuehne of Bigfork, is a graduate of the McCone county high school.
Out-of-town guests at the wedding included Mr. and Mrs. George Good and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Forest Baker and Douglas, all of Wolf Point.

He will be remembered for his humorous story telling and great photography depicting his hunting and fishing adventures in all of Alaska that he could reach with his Super Cub, one of the greatest joys of his life." He was a member of the Elks Club in Eagle River.

He was preceded in death by his father. Former Alaska resident Mark "Bucky" Bucholz, 52, died Nov. 26, 2006, as a result of a motorcycle accident in Kona, Hawaii.

A celebration of his life and potluck will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Elks Club in Eagle River. Friends are invited to bring pictures and enjoyable stories to tell.

Mr. Bucholz was born Feb. 24, 1954, in Kalispell, Mont., and spent his youth in Wolf Point, Mont., graduating from Wolf Point High School in 1972. He served his country in the U.S. Army and Montana and Alaska national guards.
