Clarence Russell Perkins was a Dental Technician.³ He married Elsie J. Ahlstrom on 20 December 1973 at Kitsap Co., Washington. Clarence Russell Perkins lived in July 1978 at Gig Harbor, Pierce Co., Washington.⁴ He died on 7 July 1980 at Tacoma General Hospital, Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington, at age 84.^3,2 The cause of death was Cardio Pulmonary arrest and Pancreatic Carcinoma Lymphoma.³

Dental pioneer Perkins succumbs at age 84
Clarence R. Perkins, 84, pioneer dental technician in the Northwest, died Monday.
Mr. Perkins, of 3702 Hunt Ave. N.W., Gig Harbor, was born in Hager City, Wis., and moved to Gig Harbor in 1914.
He owned and operated the Perkins Dental Laboratory for 55 years before his retirement.
He was a member of a number of Masonic organizations including the Joseph Warren Lodge. He also was a member of the Tacoma Elks Lodge and the Upper Sound Grange.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie; two sons. Dr. C. Russell Perkins of Tacoma and James R. of Lafayette, Calif; a sister, Mrs. Ras (Allie) Garstad of Aberdeen; three stepsons, David and Vincent Nord- fors, both of Seattle, and Spencer Nordfors of Gig Harbor; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Russ Perkins, a retired dentist, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by family, at the age of 87.
Russ was born in Marysville, Washington, October 22, 1916 to Johanna and Clarence Perkins. He was married more than sixty years to Eleanor Jane Perkins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Dorothy Reid, and his daughter Diane Mason.
His survivors include his wife Ellie, son Rick and wife Nancy, son-in-law Jerry Mason, son Jeff and wife Cheryl, daughter Lou Lehman and husband Steve: grandchildren Matthew. Erika. Alison, Kate, Brian. Danny, Carly and Ellie; great-grandchildren Ailene, Scott and Jerrica.
Russ was raised in Tacoma, graduated from Stadium High School, the University of Puget Sound and the University of Oregon Dental School. He had a dental practice In Tacoma for 47 years, including two years in England.
Russ and his family spent many wonderful summers at their cabin on Henderson Bay.
Russ was a lifelong athlete. His sports included football, boxing, volleyball, running, tennis and jump-up Frisbee.
He will be sorely missed by all who knew him for his love of life and great sense of humor.
A memorial service in Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, November 29 at 1:00 pm at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 909 North J Street in Tacoma, Washington.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

     Delta Ann Perkins was born on 12 July 1899 at Featherstone Twsp., Goodhue Co., Minnesota.^1,2 Delta Ann Perkins was a housewife. She was the daughter of Marshall Timothy Perkins and Anna Rolfe Purdy. Delta Ann Perkins married Oscar Cecil Harn, son of Calvin Davis Harn and Rachel Rupel, on 19 February 1919 at Rice Co., Minnesota. Delta Ann Perkins married Frederick Kalien, son of Herman Kalien Sr. and Wilhelmina Marcolas, on 20 February 1942 at Mankato, Blue Earth Co., Minnesota.³ Delta Ann Perkins lived in January 1944 at 227 Park Ave., Faribault, Rice Co., Minnesota.      Diane Hilary Perkins was born on 11 December 1944 at Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington. She was the daughter of Dr. Clarence Russell Perkins and Eleanor Jane Erickson. Diane Hilary Perkins married Jerry P. Mason on 12 May 1978 at Pierce Co., Washington. Diane Hilary Perkins died on 5 July 2003 at University Place, Pierce Co., Washington, at age 58.

Doris Merle Perkins died on 10 November 1946 at Rochester, Olmsted Co., Minnesota; Death Record stated Doris was born 18Jun1901 in Red Wing, and that her and husband, Louis VanDeusen resided in Red Wing.³ Death Record for husband Louis, had surname as VanDeusen. She was born in Marysville and was a Tacoma resident the past 60 years. Before her retirement, she was a clerk at People's Store. Mrs. Reid was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and William P. Daugherty Lodge, and she was a Tacoma Rainbow Girls Assembly advisor.
Survivors include her husband, Robert B. Reid; a son, Robert P. of Tacoma; two daughters, Mrs. James (Joan) Edinger of Tacoma and Mrs. Raymond (Kathy) Nybo of Puyallup; her father, Clarence R. Perkins of Gig Harbor; two brothers, Dr. C. Russell Perkins of Tacoma and J. Richard Perkins of Lafayette, Calif., and seven grandchildren. Oakwood Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Carl (Edna) Adler, 85, former resident of Wacouta, died Thursday at St. John's Hospital. Born in Featherstone Township July 5, 1889, she was the daughter of Anna and Marshall Perkins. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. George A. (Dorothy) Nelson of Red Wing, Mrs. William (Marian) Glawe of Largo, Fla., and Mrs. Victor (Virginia) Wren of Vancouver, Wash; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence Perkins of California; four sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Seiz of Red Wing, Mrs. Delta Harn of Rochester, Mrs. Nina Carlson of St. Paul and Mrs. Frances Davis of Red Wing. Private family services were held this morning at Bodelson Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Hane officiating.

Dr. Elmer Perkins, former resident of Red Wing, dies. Word has been received by relatives here of the recent death of Dr. Elmer Arthur Perkins, 70-year old former Red Wing resident, who died in Houston, Tex., following a cerebral hemorrhage on December 12. Funeral services were held in Houston.
Dr. Perkins, brother of the late Marshall T. Perkins of this city, was a native of Red Wing where he was active in music organization. He sang with the Houston Kiwanis Glee club which later, under the direction of the late Ellison Van Hosse, became a widely known musical aggregation, presenting concerts in many, sections of the country.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jesse Pease Perkins, who has been associated for many years with Mrs. Edna Saunders in the Houston entertainment and concert field; a daughter, Mrs. Julia P. Taylor; two grandchildren and a great grandchild, all of Houston.⁴ The cause of death was Cerebral Hemorrhage.⁴ In Birth Record, mother's name spelled Viola. He was buried at Glenwood Cemetery, Houston, Harris Co., Texas, Plot: Sec D-1 Lot 085.⁵
