Franklin "Sam" Samuel Baker Obituary
Sam Baker 41, cherished son of Frank Baker, Vance Abbott and Cynthia Freeman Abbott, returned to his heavenly home on June 20, 2019 in Delta UT.
Sam was born Feb 24, 1978 in Los Banos CA. He lived in Los Banos until June 1992 when the family moved to Fillmore UT. In 1994 the family moved to Delta, where Sam graduated from high school and went to work as a Union Laborer then a Brick Layer. This was his career for the past 21 years. He married LauraLee Jeffery on Apr. 15, 2000 (later divorced). They had 3 children together.
In his spare time Sam loved to hunt, fish, fix cars, ride dirt bikes, and golf. He spent time doing these things with his family and friends. Sam came from a close, loving family so even with 3 sisters, it felt like he had more siblings, because he also has many cousins, whom he saw often and loved fiercely.
Sam never met a person who didn’t become his friend. He served selflessly and helped many a person in their time of need.
