William A. Greenwood, who formerly lived in this vicinity, died at the Lee Sanitarium in Dowagiac, Sunday. He lived 51 years. Funeral services were held yesterday and interment will be in the cemetery at the Union Church north of Dailey. He is survived by his wife and children.

Greninger was born on 19 November 1907 at Jasper Co., Missouri.¹ She married Clarence Arthur Greenwood, son of Charles Burton Greenwood and Lydia Fredricka Graffenberger, on 24 December 1927 at Carthage, Jasper Co., Missouri. Sidney H. Greninger died on 4 September 1987 at Carthage, Jasper Co., Missouri, at age 79.¹ She was buried at Emmanuel Cemetery, Carthage, Jasper Co., Missouri.¹

Husband and wife die in car-truck collision

CARTHAGE, Mo. - A Carthage man and his wife were killed Friday when their car was hit broadside by a truck as they tried to drive across a highway.      Clarence Greenwood, 82, and Sidney Greenwood, 79, were killed instantly when they pulled in front of the truck on U.S. 71 Alternate, five miles south of Carthage, the Missouri Highway Patrol said. The truck driver was slightly injured in the wreck, which occurred at 10:45 a.m.
