Michael Collins, 54, of Lugoff, SC, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 after suffering from a stroke. He was born November 18, 1960 in Elyria, OH where he resided until the age of 23. Mike graduated from Elyria High School in 1979 and then from the Virginia Beach Police Academy in 1986. He served 12 years as a Police Officer in Virginia Beach before retiring in 1998. Mike loved all sports. In high school he lettered in baseball (pitcher), basketball and football (quarterback). His favorite was baseball, beginning with t-ball and playing through his years with the Virginia Beach FOP. Later, his interests turned to Harley Davidson motorcycles. He also had a lifelong love of music. Mike had many friends and had a knack (and memory) for telling stories. He never met a stranger.

Mike is survived by his mother Barbara Collins of Lugoff, SC; grandmother Ellen Bukowski of Lugoff, SC; sister, Michele (David) Kleckner, of Chapel Hill, NC; nephew Joshua Kleckner of Denver, CO; niece Sarah Kleckner of Chapel Hill, NC; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Mike was preceded in death by his father Clayton Collins.

There will be no public services. The family would like to extend their gratitude to all the staff at Palmetto Health Richland, particularly to those on the Hospice floor for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Walter Crowe Animal Shelter, Camden, SC in memory of Mike or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are in the care of Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, SC.

     Barbara Ann Combs was born on 7 April 1960 at Polson, Lake Co., Montana.¹ She was the daughter of William Eugene Combs and Melva Lee Joy. Barbara Ann Combs married Robert Kintz. Barbara Ann Combs died on 6 October 2015 at Pablo, Lake Co., Montana, at age 55.² She was buried at Lakeview Cemetery, Polson, Lake Co., Montana.¹ She was cremated. The cause of death was Multiple System Atrophy. Multiple system atrophy is a rare neurodegenerative disorder characterized by autonomic dysfunction, tremors, slow movement, muscle rigidity, and postural instability and ataxia. Barbara's death certificate listed her race as Salish Kootenai.

     Cecil E. Combs was born on 7 February 1913. He married Vesta D. Dale in January 1936 at Polson, Lake Co., Montana. Cecil E. Combs and Vesta D. Dale were divorced on 8 August 1944 at Kalispell, Flathead Co., Montana. Cecil E. Combs married Fredericka Elva Chapman on 15 August 1944 at Hot Springs, Sanders Co., Montana. Cecil E. Combs died on 2 March 1976 at Flathead Co., Montana, at age 63.

     Edward Combs is the son of William Eugene Combs and Melva Lee Joy.

     Flora Eveline Combs was born on 25 August 1900 at Madison Co., Missouri.¹ She married James Robert Hahn on 3 July 1917 at Madison Co., Missouri. Flora Eveline Combs married William Herbert Warfel, son of George Oren Warfel and Clara Adlee Godbey. Flora Eveline Combs died on 8 April 1981 at age 80.¹ She was buried at New Home Cemetery, Crawford Co., Missouri.¹

     William Eugene Combs was born on 1 December 1938 at Kalispell, Flathead Co., Montana.¹ He was the son of Cecil E. Combs and Vesta D. Dale. William Eugene Combs married Melva Lee Joy, daughter of Elwood Russell Joy and Leota Blanche Noel, on 30 April 1959 at Polson, Lake Co., Montana.² William Eugene Combs and Melva Lee Joy were divorced on 5 November 1964 at Polson, Lake Co., Montana. William Eugene Combs married Gloria Ann Diemer in 1976. William Eugene Combs died on 20 December 2007 at Benton, Saline Co., Arkansas, at age 69.¹ He was buried on 23 December 2007 at Bolin Cemetery, Paron, Saline Co., Arkansas.¹

Everett John Como and Oci Ilene Miles were divorced on 8 September 1947 at Kalispell, Flathead Co., Montana, Grounds listed were wilful neglect. Everett John Como died on 10 May 1985 at Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon, at age 63.

     Joan Ilene Como was born on 4 March 1943 at Butte, Silver Bow Co., Montana. She was the daughter of Everett John Como and Oci Ilene Miles. Joan Ilene Como married Craig Ellison Stanley on 11 June 1966 at Missoula, Missoula Co., Montana. Joan Ilene Como died on 27 March 2011 at El Dorado Co., California, at age 68. She graduated circa 1964 at University of Montana, Montana. She lived in October 2003 at Sacramento, Sacramento Co., California.¹

     Doris Mabell Compton was born on 15 December 1910 at Gay Twsp., Taylor Co., Iowa.¹ She married Elbert L. Harn, son of Trebert Sloan Harn and Margaret E. Stuart, on 18 October 1974.² Doris Mabell Compton died on 12 August 2001 at Macomb, McDonough Co., Illinois, at age 90.¹ She was buried at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Colchester, McDonough Co., Illinois.¹

Compton died on 19 February 1967 at Community Memorial Hospital, Winona, Winona Co., Minnesota, at age 90.^1,2 She was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Winona, Winona Co., Minnesota.¹ She graduated circa 1894 at Winona Senior High School, Winona, Winona Co., Minnesota.²

Mrs. Lillian 0. Perkins, 90, 355 W. 4th St., died Sunday night at 9:35 p.m. at Community Memorial Hospital. She had been ill a few days.
The former Lillian Compton, she was born May 8, 1876, in Fremont Township, Winona County, to Richard A. and Harriet Arnold Compton. Her parents were pioneers, having come to Winona County in Nov. 14, 1855, in a covered wagon. They farmed in Fremont Township until moving to Winona in 1883.
She graduated from Winona Senior High School and was married to Fred O. Perkins, Oct. 26, 1898.
She was a member of Central Methodist Church, Winona Chapter of DAR and Winona County Old Settlers Association.
Surviving are: A niece, Miss Harriet Hall, Detroit, Mich., and several other nieces and nephews. Her husband died in 1932. Her parents and eight brothers and sisters also have died.
Funeral arrangements are being completed by Fawcett Funeral Home.
