Eileen J. AuBuchon Carpenter, age 94 of Paris, TN passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021, at her residence. Her body is to be cremated and private family services will be held later. Eileen J. AuBuchon Carpenter was born June 16, 1927, to the late William Christopher and the late Marion Housekinecht Christopher. She was previously married to Clyde AuBuchon who preceded her in death on February 21, 1986, and Dr. George Carpenter who preceded her in death on July 2, 2005. Ms. Carpenter is survived by three daughters: Sandra (Greg) Maxwell of Watsonville, CA, JoAnn (Randy) Lane of West Lake, CA, and Diane (Jay) Van Reed of Florissant, MO; three sons: Mark (Doris) AuBuchon of Atlanta, GA, Anthony "Tony" (Vera) AuBuchon of Paris, TN and Scott AuBuchon of Paris, TN; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husbands, Eileen was also preceded in death by a son, Michael John AuBuchon.

Mrs. Ora Mable Magruder, 71, of 502 West State, died at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday in St. John's Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Magruder, a longtime resident of Springfield, was a member of First Baptist Church and the Triple L Club there. She was the widow of Glen Magruder, a former builder here.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Herbert McDougal, 2427 East Bennett, a brother, Larry Christopher, St Louis, three sisters, Mrs. Beulah Bible, Crystal City, Mrs. Ethel Moss, DeSoto; and Aileen, of St. Louis; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Ralph Thieme Chapel with Dr. T.T Crabtree officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Rosa Medley Died March 18
Mrs. Rosa Belle Medley was born in the year of 1877, and passed away March 18, at the age of 66 years, 3 months and 29 days. She was united in marriage to George Parker in 1891, and to this union four children were born. In 1922 she was married to Joe Medley, who preceded her in death three weeks ago. They lived most of their married life in Bunker. Mrs. Medley professed a faith in Christ several years ago, and lived a Christian life until her death.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lena Warfel, of Clyde Park, Mont; three sons, Frank, of Attalla, Ala; Christopher, of Baton Rouge, La., and Preston, of Lovell, Wyo; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, besides a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Bunker church by the Rev. Mont Hinson. Interment in the Bunker cemetery was under the direction of Hobson & Grantham.

He was born in East Millsboro, Pa., a son of the late Harold Christopher and Margaret Harn Christopher.

Russell was a former employee of Isabella Coal Mine, a former member of Wesleyen Methodist Church of Isabella, a member of Isabella Volunteer Fire Department, the Fairbanks Rod and Gun Club, and the Hiller Volunteer Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Russell E. Christopher Jr., and brothers, Harold, Donald, and Richard.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Yvonne Pappas Christopher of East Millsboro, Pa; son, Craig Christopher and his wife, Cathy of East Millsboro; daughter, Rosemarie Christopher of Uniontown, Pa., grandson, Brandon Christopher of Keisterville, Pa; brother, Raymond Christopher. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., 19 Legion Street, Republic, Pa., on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday until 10 a.m., the hour of Service with Rev. Gail Mason officiating.

Interment will be in Acklin Cemetery, Hopewell Road, Brownsville.

     William Henry Christopher was born on 24 October 1874 at Bonne Terre, St. Francois Co., Missouri.1,2 He was the son of William Thomas Christopher and Mary Ann Fears. William Henry Christopher married Lissene Catherine Black in June 1893 at Missouri.2 William Henry Christopher married Marion Thersesa Houseknecht on 26 June 1924 at Shiloh, St. Clair Co., Illinois. William Henry Christopher died on 24 March 1966 at Plattin Twsp., Jefferson Co., Missouri, at age 91.1,2 He was buried on 28 March 1966 at Lake Charles Park Cemetery, Bel-Nor, St. Louis Co., Missouri.3,1,2 William Henry Christopher was a merchant in a general store.1 The cause of death was Hemiplegia (left), Hypertension, generalized arteriosclerosis.1

The funeral for William H. Christopher was at 10:30 a.m. this morning, Monday, in a chapel of Mothershead Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. David N. Yivisaker, pastor of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Burial was in Lake Charles Cemetery, St. Louts County.

Mr. Christopher was born near Bonne Terre Oct. 24, 1874, a son of Thomas and Mary Ann (Fears) Christopher. He died March 24 at his home on De Soto Rt. One, after a short illness. Mr. Christopher was 91 years and 5 months of age.

He and Miss Melissa Black, married in 1893, were parents of five children. She is deceased.

In 1924, Mr. Christopher was united in marriage to Miss Marion Houseknecht of Shilo, Ill. Surviving with her are: Two sons, Larry Elmer Christopher, St. Louis; four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Moss, Hillsboro, Mrs. Ora Magruder, Springfield, Mrs. Beulah Bible, Catawissa, and Mrs. Eileen Aubuchon, St. Louis; brother, Robert Christopher, De Soto; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. The Christophers resided near the Ozark Cafe, which they formerly operated. It was a well known stop on old US 61 for many years.
