Celia M. Harn 1921-2007
FARIBAULT - Celia M. Harn, of Faribault, died Thursday, March 15, 2007, at the District One Hospital in Faribault.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 19, 2007, at 1 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault, with Bernadette Tatge, pastoral minister of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Faribault. Memorial visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Celia Marie Stasney, the daughter of John and Emma (Heyda) Stasney, was born Nov. 28, 1921, and raised on her family's farm in Montgomery, Minn. She attended country school in rural Montgomery. On April 11, 1945, she was united in marriage to David Harn in Faribault. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1965. Celia was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed sewing, canning pickles, and caring for her flower and vegetable gardens and trees. She loved the farm life and visiting Carole and Tony's farm and their variety of animals. Celia also enjoyed her time with her grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children, Carole (and Tony) Bongers, Bob Harn, and Larry Harn (and Jeanne Taylor), all of Faribault; a daughter-in-law, Judy Harn of Faribault; seven grandchildren, Tammie Bongers (and Steve Dahl), Troy Bongers (and Wendy), Traci (and Mark) Thieding, Chris Bongers, Grady Harn, Hailey Harn and Hattie Harn; three great-grandchildren, Lexa Bongers, Holly Bongers and Alex Thieding; brother, John (and Rita) Stasney of Montgomery; two sisters, Evelyn Felix of Duluth and Alice Stoeckel of Faribault; two brothers-in-law, Richard Chodek of New Prague and Bill (and Donna) Harn of Faribault; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David; parents; sister, Lillian Chodek; brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Bonnie Stasney; and two brothers-in-law, Walter Stoeckel and Delbert Felix. The family prefers that memorials be directed to Divine Mercy Catholic Church, St. Lucas Care Center, Faribault Area Hospice, or the choice of the donor in Celia's memory.1


She was buried at Calvary Cemetery, Faribault, Rice Co., Minnesota.2

     Fannie Louisia Stein was born on 29 October 1858 at Canton, Fulton Co., Illinois.1 She was the daughter of John M. Stein and Anna Catherine Vogt. Fannie Louisia Stein married Winfield Scott Harn, son of John Hanson Thornton Harn and Frances Leighty, on 18 January 1876 at McDonough, Illinois.1 Fannie Louisia Stein died on 5 December 1941 at Fort Steilacoom, Pierce Co., Washington, at age 83.1,2

Mrs. Fannie Louise Harn, 84, of Seattle, died Friday in a local hospital. She was a member of the Pentecostal church and leaves five sons, Albert of Plentywood, Mont; Steve and Arthur of Union, Ore; Frank of Venice, Calif., and Samuel of Elbe; two daughters, Mrs. Ida Lindsay of Hardington, Neb., and Mrs. Mary Connally of Seattle; 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and five half brothers, Steve and Charles Leis of Oregon City, George Leis of Seattle, Cal Leis of Nebraska and Henry Leis of San Francisco. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:30 o’clock at Buckley-King’s , with the Rev. T.J. Creighton of Elbe officiating. Burial will be at Union Junction, Ore.3 She was buried at Union Cemetery, Union, Union Co., Oregon.2

Norman Patton, pastor of First Church of God, will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Goshen. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

He was born on Nov. 9, 1941, in Niles, Mich., living most of his life in Bristol. On Nov. 20, 1976, he married LeAnn Marie Rink. She survives along with three daughters, Christine at home, Tammy, Richardson of Millersburg, and Laurie Richardson of Crown Point; three sons, Grover Steiner Jr.
of Indianapolis, and John and Terry Richardson, both of Milford; a stepson, Roy Allen Rink at home; a grandson; three sisters, Wanda Hunter of Kansas, Ill., Sandy Lemons of High Point, N.C., and Bonnie Castleman of Bristol; three half-sisters, Linda Oliver of Charleston, Ill., Linda Hummel of Constantine, Mich., and Toni Evilsizor of White Pigeon, Mich; his 1 mother and stepfather, Ernest and Maxine Strawser of Elkhart; his father, Harold R. of Elkhart; and a grandmother, Mrs. Sylvia Wyman of Constantine.
