Polson, Feb. 13. - Flora Ellen Noel, pioneer resident of Polson, aged 75 years, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Luchau on Wednesday. She was the widow of Eli Noel and they came to Polson in 1910. She is the mother of 13 children, eight of whom are living. She had 47 grand-children and 11 great-grand children. She was a native of Maine and was born in 1856. She is survived by five sons, Tracy Noel of Black Duck, Minn; Clifford of Deep River Falls, Minn; Harry L. of Waterloo, Iowa; Del Noel of Paradise; William of Polson; three daughters, Mrs. William Luchau, Mrs. L. Bartlet and Mrs. W. E. Mitchell, both of Kalispell.

FLORA E. NOEL
Flora E. Noel passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Luchau, in Grandview addition at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening, February 10, 1931, at the age of 75 years.
Mrs. Noel was born at Farmington, Maine in 1855, and came to the Flathead at the time of the Reservation opening. She had been an invalid for some time preceding her death. Five sons and three daughters are left to mourn her death: Mrs. Wm. Luchau and William H., of Polson; Tracy C., of Blackduck, Minn; Clifford E., of Thief River Falls, Minn; Dell, of Paradise, Montana; Harry L., of Waterloo, Iowa; Mrs. W. L. Bartlett and Mrs. W. E. Mitchell, of Kalispell. There are 49 grandchilren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Retz chapel at 2 p. m. Sunday with Rev. H. J. Frame officiating and burial being made in Lakeview cemetery beside her husband. Mrs. Noel was highly respected in the community and left many friends to mourn her passing.

This Frank E. Perkins could possibly be the son of Hartson E. Perkins and Violet.

The book, The Sea Wing Disaster, 1990, by Frederick L. Johnson, page 94, lists Frank Perkins from Red Wing as a survivor of the Sea Wing in July of 1890. He lived in 1894 at Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota. In Birth Record, mother's name listed as Viola. Unable to locate Frank in Goodhue Co Death Records 1894-1983.

Fred O. Perkins, 68 years old, president of the Winona Country club who was prominently identified with the business and social life of that city nearly 80 years, died at a Rochester hospital yesterday.
Mr. Perkins was the retired manager of the international Harvester company's branch office in Winona.
Bom in Featherstone township of Goodhue county, near Rod Wing, September 17, 1866, he received his primary education in the rural schools. He later attended Hamline university and the University of Minnesota, taught eight years in the rural schools of Goodhue county and in night schools to Winona.
He is survived by his widow, a sister, Mrs. G. B. Featherstone of Red Wing four brothers, including T.L. Perkins, on the home farm near Red Wing.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow.

Mrs. Joseph A. Yungers, 60, 1515 West Fourth street, Red Wing resident most of her life, died at the Methodist hospital in Rochester Thursday evening. She had been failing in health for the past four months.
She was born in Hartland township on September 19, 1897, to Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Perkins. As a young girl she moved with her family to Red Wing where she attended schools. Prior to her marriage in 1927 she was employed as a bookkeeper at the Red Wing Creamery.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church and the Rosary society.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Willard (Joan) Steele of Red Wing; a brother, Bert Perkins of Red Wing, and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Joseph's church with the Rev. Fr. Derham Ryan officiating. Internment will be in Calvary cemetery.¹ Death Record lists Genevieve born 19Sep1897 in Wisc. Genevieve and Joseph were married by a Catholic Priest. Wedding witnessed by Mrs. Burton Perkins and William P. Youngers.

Word has been received of the death of Dr. George A. Perkins, brother of Mrs. B.G. Featherstone and T.L. Perkins of Red Wing, on Monday morning at his summer home at Stone Lake, Wis. He was 70 years of age. Dr. Perkins grew to manhood in this community after graduating from the University of Minnesota, and later located in Dickinson, N.D. where he was a practicing physician and surgeon for almost 40 years. Surviving are his widow and one daughter, Mrs. G.E. McCune, and one grandson, Robert McCune, of Fairmont. Funeral services and internment will be held at Fairmont on Thursday, July 10.³ George living in Dickinson, ND in 1924 when father died.

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Grace Perkins Page was born October 11, 1914 in Red Wing Minnesota and died May 1, 2011. She began this 96 year life on a farm surrounded by the large families of her father Timothy Perkins and her mother Lucy Featherstone. Enabled by a princely scholarship of $25, she was able to attend Hamline University in St. Paul where she met Clarence Page. They married in 1938 and moved with Firestone to several states before ending in Ohio in 1952.

She made many loving, life-long friends as a Girl Scout leader, an active quilter at the First United Methodist Church, and a member of PEO. She created her own designs for hundreds of unique and beautiful "Page Bags" whose owners will now treasure them. She was intuitive, nurturing, endlessly kind and a steadfast friend. She was self-effacing, frugal and attentive to details. She was a wonderful correspondent and treasured receiving letters from others.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters and their husbands Peggy and Bob Springer and Patsy and Bob Moyer and their children Kari and Matt Beery, Todd and Gina Springer, Vanessa Moyer and Mark Mills, and Cassandra Reeder, and her great-grandchildren Quinn and Grace Springer, Carson and Spencer Reeder and Emerson and Olivia Beery.

Her memorial service will be at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 6 at the First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
Friends who wish to talk to family members are invited to come at 11:00 a.m. before the service and remain for lunch after the service.
