     Thurza R. Phelps was also known as Theerza. She was born on 20 March 1868 at Indiana. She was the daughter of T.P. Phelps and Eleanor Tull. Thurza R. Phelps married Albert S. Harn, son of Wesley Jaleel Harn and Urith Mannahan, in 1897.¹ Thurza R. Phelps died on 7 November 1943 at Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana, at age 75. She was buried at Nutter Cemetery, Morgan Co., Indiana.²

     Barbara Ann Phillips married Richard Joseph Everest, son of Joseph Ira Everest and Frances Rosetta Purdy, on 9 April 1955 at Langlois, Curry Co., Oregon.¹

     Bonnie May Phillips was born on 14 August 1911 at Duncan, Greenlee Co., Arizona.¹ She was the daughter of Hugh Samuel Phillips and Hazel Nichols. Bonnie May Phillips married John Drollinger Rupel, son of Alexis Coquillard Rupel and Mary Elizabeth Drollinger, on 8 August 1934 at Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., California.¹ Bonnie May Phillips married Robert Cassius Smith on 18 January 1942 at Los Angeles Co., California. Bonnie May Phillips and John Drollinger Rupel were divorced. Bonnie May Phillips died on 4 September 1988 at California at age 77.

     Elizabeth Ruth Phillips was born in 1860 at New York.¹ She married Julius A. Lamb.¹

     Estella Phillips also went by the name of Stella. She was born on 1 February 1896 at Plymouth, Marshall Co., Indiana.¹ She married Russell S. Mock, son of Ira Mock and Julia Stuard. Carolyn Kay Pickersgill died on 2 July 1980 at Multnomah Co., Oregon, at age 25.² She was buried at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon.^2,3 She graduated in 1975 at Wilson High School, Portland, Oregon.³ The cause of death was heart attack.³

Carolyn Pickersgill
Mass for Carolyn K. Pickersgill, who died of a heart attack Tuesday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John Fisher Catholic Church. Vault interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Miss Pickersgill, a 1975 graduate of Wilson High School, resided in Gresham with her grandparents. She was 25 and was born in Salem.
Survivors include the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Pickersgill; her father, Kenneth Pickersgill of Portland; her mother, Jeanne Rue Pickersgill of Stayton; two sisters, Denise Pickers- gill of McMinnville and Laurie Pickersgill of Portland; and three brothers, Michael and Kevin, both of Portland, and Craig of Stayton.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Hennessey, Goetsch & McGee with Miller & Tracey mortuary.

Kenneth Edward Pickersgill married Ruthane Wilson in 1975. Kenneth Edward Pickersgill died on 12 March 2001 at Clark Co., Washington, at age 65.^4,2 He was buried at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon.⁴

Pickersgill was arrested by city police following an altercation in which Jean Elizabeth Pickersgill, his wife was shot in the leg. He is at liberty on $2,000 bond bail.

Kenneth Edward Pickersgill
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2001, in Hennessey, Goetsch and McGee for Kenneth Edward Pickersgill, who died March 12 at age 65. Mr. Pickersgill was born April 19, 1935, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He immigrated to Kansas in 1947 and moved to Salem in 1953.
After serving in the U.S. Army, he moved to Portland in 1970. He was a maintenance engineer for several nursing homes, retiring from Columbia Manor in about 1991. In 1975, he married Ruthane Wilson. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Denise M. Shero and Laurie R. Adams; sons, Kevin J., Michael J. and Craig T; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Interment in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

     Emeline Pickett was born circa 1836. She was the daughter of William R. Pickett and Miranda Harn.¹

     Emory Ernest Pickett was born on 26 October 1897 at Carroll Co., Maryland.¹ He was the son of Charles Eugene Pickett and Verdie Ulallah Harn. Emory Ernest Pickett died on 29 October 1976 at Taylorsville, Carroll Co., Maryland, at age 79.¹ He was buried at Taylorsville United Methodist Church Cemetery, Taylorsville, Carroll Co., Maryland.¹
