He was born on 24 October 1842.^1,2 He was the son of John Jacob Rupel and Susannah Bowman. Tilghman H. Rupel married Rebecca A. Heaton on 21 December 1865.² Tilghman H. Rupel lived at 753 South Michigan St., South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana. He died on 31 May 1898 at age 55.¹ He was buried at Sumption Prairie Cemetery, South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.¹

     Tyra B. Rupel was born circa 1842 at Indiana.¹ He was born on 21 August 1842 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.^2,3 He was the son of John Jacob Rupel and Susannah Bowman. Tyra B. Benjamin Ruple left a will in Noble Co., Indiana, filed Oct. 22, 1866, listing wife, Eliza, daughter Angeline. Benjamin Ruple of Noble Co. had minor daughter, Samantha, Elkhart Co.
A Samantha Ruple married Dec. 31, 1867 in Kosciusko Co., Indiana. Benjamin Ruple died in October 1866 at Noble Co., Indiana.
