     Horacio Santistevan was born on 15 January 1883 at Costilla, Taos Co., New Mexico. He married Rufinita Allen, daughter of Robert A. Allen and Cleofes Romero, on 10 August 1903 at San Luis, Costilla Co., Colorado. Horacio Santistevan died on 31 January 1959 at Denver, Adams Co., Colorado, at age 76.

     Horacio Santistevan Jr. was born on 10 March 1914 at Colorado. He was the son of Horacio Santistevan and Rufinita Allen. Horacio Santistevan Jr. died on 19 July 1993 at Denver, Adams Co., Colorado, at age 79.

     Joseph M. Santistevan is the son of Horacio Santistevan and Rufinita Allen.

     Joy Lee Santistevan was born on 19 March 1958.¹ She was the daughter of Alfredo Carlos Santistevan and Donna Rae Grubtill. Joy Lee Santistevan died on 22 March 1958.¹ She was buried at Highland Cemetery, Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming.¹

     Juan Julian Santistevan was born on 16 March 1923 at Fort Garland, Costilla Co., Colorado.¹ He was the son of Horacio Santistevan and Rufinita Allen. Juan Julian Santistevan began military service on 13 May 1943. He ended military service on 20 February 1946. He married Valenda Newton on 30 July 1959 at Douglas, Converse Co., Wyoming. Juan Julian Santistevan lived in September 2003 at Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming.² He died on 1 December 2009 at Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming, at age 86.¹ He was buried at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery, Evansville, Natrona Co., Wyoming.¹

     Kathleen Santistevan is the daughter of Alfredo Carlos Santistevan and Donna Rae Grubtill. Kathleen Santistevan married Ron Jackson.

     Laura Ann Santistevan is the daughter of Daniel Louis Santistevan Sr. and Maria Ernestina Trujillo. Laura Ann Santistevan married John Paul Craft on 18 September 1999 at St. Mary's Catholic Cathedral, Colorado Springs, El Paso Co., Colorado.

     Linda Santistevan married Danny Jennings. Linda Santistevan is the daughter of Daniel Louis Santistevan Sr. and Maria Ernestina Trujillo.

     Lisa Santistevan is the daughter of Daniel Louis Santistevan Sr. and Maria Ernestina Trujillo. Lisa Santistevan married Daniel Hansen.

     Lloyd Santistevan was born circa 1926 at Colorado. He was the son of Horacio Santistevan and Rufinita Allen. Lloyd Santistevan lived in 1940 at Fort Garland, Costilla Co., Colorado.

     Salvador Santistevan was born in June 1899 at New Mexico. He married Eloisa Martinez on 31 October 1921 at Monte Vista, Alamosa Co., Colorado. Salvador Santistevan lived in March 1955 at Pueblo, Pueblo Co., Colorado. He died on 17 April 1972 at age 72.

     Solomon Santistevan was born on 21 August 1918 at San Luis, Costilla Co., Colorado. He was the son of Horacio Santistevan and Rufinita Allen. Solomon Santistevan lived in 1940 at Fort Garland, Costilla Co., Colorado. He began military service on 25 September 1941. He died in 1945.¹ He was buried on 26 February 1945 at Fairmount Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.¹

     Teresa Santistevan was born circa 1929 at Colorado. She was the daughter of Horacio Santistevan and Rufinita Allen.

     Orlan William Sapp was born on 22 January 1922. He married Eva J. Maddox, daughter of John Dwight Maddox and Ellzira Elizabeth Sellers, on 5 July 1975 at Coalville, Summit Co., Utah; Certificate # 4473.¹ Orlan William Sapp died on 26 March 1996 at Oklahoma at age 74.

     Helen Louise Sarle was also known as Searle. She was born on 17 December 1849 at Covington, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Richard Sarle and Lucerina Mann. Helen Louise Sarle was born circa December 1850 at Indiana.¹ Pictorial & Biographical Memoirs of Elkhart/St. Joseph Co.,1893,pg 316. She married William H. Longley, son of Andrew Longley and Mary Ruple, on 14 December 1871 at St. Joseph Co., Indiana.² Helen Louise Sarle died on 12 November 1922 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 72. She was buried on 14 November 1922 at Highland Cemetery, South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.³

     Josephine M. Sarle was also known as Searle. She was born on 1 October 1841 at Pennsylvania.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Sarle. Josephine M. Sarle married Benjamin Coquillard Jr., son of Benedict Michael Coquillard Sr. and Sophia Mary Andre dit Clark, on 1 October 1863 at Notre Dame, St. Joseph Co., Indiana. Josephine M. Sarle died on 27 November 1933 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 92.¹ She was buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Notre Dame, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.¹

     Louis Sarle was the son of Richard Sarle and Lucerina Mann.

     Richard Sarle was also known as Searle. He was born on 2 January 1811 at Providence, Lucas Co., Ohio.¹ He was born circa 1812 at Rhode Island. He married Lucerina Mann on 19 October 1840 at Tioga Co., Pennsylvania. Richard Sarle married Louisa Meeker on 27 October 1857 at La Porte Co., Indiana. Richard Sarle married Maria Brown in April 1870 at St. Joseph Co., Indiana. Richard Sarle died on 13 March 1888 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 77.¹

Death of Richard Sarle.
The death of the venerable Richard Sarle, which occurred last night about o'clock at his residence on Huston street in this city, adds another to the list of our county's earlier residents and prominent citizens who have joined the silent majority within a few months past. Mr. Sarle, who has not been in robust health for some time, was attacked with pneumonia on Thursday of last week and the disease took such a firm hold upon his system from the start that the best medical skill and the most careful nursing could not withstay the blighting hand of the destroyer. Mr. Sarle came to this county from Tioga county, Pa., in the year 1854, and bought the farm of Andrew Longley, on Portage prairie in German township, where he lived until about eight years ago when he retired from active business and removed to the city. He was a successful farmer and acquired a competency besides maintaining a good name for uprightness and integrity in his dealings with his fellow man. He also possessed a companionable disposition and had hosts of warm friends. The deceased was 77 years old on the second of January last, and was born near Providence, Ohio. He was four times married and leaves a wife and three children, all residents of this city. The children are the wife of ex-Councilman Will H. Longley, Mrs. Ben Coquillard, and Louis Sarle.
The funeral will probably take place Friday afternoon, but all the arrangements have not yet been completed.

     Mary E. Sateigelbauss married John Rylan Hillick, son of Rylan X. Hillick and Frieda McMurtry, on 4 July 1970; marriage annulled in 1972.¹

     Carrie C. Sateren was born on 18 January 1897 at Norway. She was the daughter of Kristian Sateren and Embjor Varpestuen. Carrie C. Sateren married Ole T. Foss on 31 August 1921 at Williams Co., North Dakota. Carrie C. Sateren died on 23 March 1980 at Mercy Hospital, Williston, Williams Co., North Dakota, at age 83.

     Kristian Sateren married Embjor Varpestuen.

     Peder K. Satre was born circa 1890 at Norway. He married Lillian Elizabeth Larson on 13 September 1945 at Beltrami Co., Minnesota.
