Jerome "Jerry" Jasinski 1929-2006
FARIBAULT -- Jerome "Jerry" Jasinski, age 76, of Faribault, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, at the District One Hospital in Faribault.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church at Immaculate Conception in Faribault with the Rev. Kevin Finnegan, pastor, officiating. Interment will be held at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and at the church on Monday for one hour prior to services. The family prefers that memorials be directed to Bethlehem Academy, Divine Mercy Catholic School or the Jerry Jasinski Scholarship Fund that will be established at South Central Technical College.

Jerome David Jasinski, the son of Albert and Alice (Stoetzel) Jasinski, was born on Sept. 3, 1929, in Owatonna. Jerry attended Bethlehem Academy High School and graduated with the class of 1947. After high school he attended the College of St. Thomas. On Oct. 1, 1949, he was united in marriage to JoAnne Popelka at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Faribault. Jerry worked from 1957 to 1995 as a Liquor Salesman, most recently with Griggs, Cooper and Company. For many years Jerry, with his brothers, owned and operated their family business Grampa Al's in Faribault. Jerry was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 889, the Faribault Aerie 1460 Fraternal Order of Eagle's, the V.F.W. Post 1560, the American Legion Post 43, the Elk's Lodge and Moose Lodge, all in Faribault. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and especially enjoyed playing and watching golf. He was given an honorary lifetime membership at the Faribault Golf and Country Club.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnne Jasinski of Faribault; by six children, Jamie (and Ted) Erickson, Jim (and April Bauer) Jasinski, Judy (and Larry) Harn, Jenny Krantzberg, Jerome Jr. "Jake" (and Janine) Jasinski and John (and Shan) Jasinski, all of Faribault; by 10 grandchildren, Andy and Lizzy Erickson; Grady, Hailey and Hattie Harn; Sarah and Joe Jasinski, Sam and Jacie Jasinski and Nell Ernste; by a brother, Don (and Marie) Jasinski of Faribault; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Gene Jasinski.¹

Julie Ann Jasinski and Laurence Michael Harn were divorced circa 2006 at Rice Co., Minnesota.

     Charles E. Jay was born on 15 March 1874 at St. Marys, Auglaize Co., Ohio. He was the son of Daniel Webster Jay and Isabella P. Hollingsworth. Charles E. Jay was born circa 1875.¹ He married Queen Isabelle Sutphen. Charles E.      Clarence Hollingsworth Jay was born circa 1887 at Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio.^1,2 He was born on 21 July 1886 at Ohio.³ He was the son of Daniel Webster Jay and Isabella P. Hollingsworth. Clarence Hollingsworth Jay died in May 1957 at Dade Co., Florida. He was buried at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys, Auglaize Co., Ohio.³ He lived in 1918 at Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio.²

     Daniel Webster Jay was born on 16 November 1846 at Miami Co., Ohio.¹ He was born at West Milton, Miami Co., Ohio.² He was born circa 1843 at St. Marys, Auglaize Co., Ohio.³ He married Isabella P. Hollingsworth, daughter of John Edward Hollingsworth and Rachel Ruth Harn, on 20 May 1870 at Loudoun, Loudoun Co., Virginia.^4,5 Daniel Webster Jay died on 3 January 1935 at St. Marys, Auglaize Co., Ohio, at age 88.¹ He was buried at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys, Auglaize Co., Ohio.¹

Katherine Jay married Eugene Edsall Quinby.² Katherine Jay died in 1965.³ She was buried at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys, Auglaize Co., Ohio.³ She lived in 1918 at St. Marys, Auglaize Co., Ohio.²

     Patricia Ann Jay was born on 18 February 1920 at Canton, Stark Co., Ohio. She was the daughter of Charles E. Jay and Queen Isabelle Sutphen. Patricia Ann Jay died on 10 June 2006 at age 86.

     William Lee Jeffers married Bettye Ruth Shaw on 17 January 1969 at Potter Co., Texas. William Lee Jeffers and Bettye Ruth Shaw were divorced on 14 April 1982 at Bell Co., Texas.

     LauraLee Jeffery married Franklin Samuel Baker, son of Franklin Lynn Baker and Cynthia Anne Freeman, on 15 April 2000. LauraLee Jeffery and Franklin Samuel Baker were divorced.

     Christine Marie Jeffries was born in 1982.¹ She was the daughter of Michael D. Jeffries and Robin June Berish. Christine Marie Jeffries died in 1999.¹ She was buried at Acklin Cemetery, Luzerne Twsp., Fayette Co., Pennsylvania.¹

Jenkins died on 16 June 1992 at age 89.^1,2 She was buried at Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Twsp., Greene Co., Pennsylvania.²

     James K.P. Jenkins Sr. was born on 31 December 1845 at Fulton Co., Illinois.² He married Minerva A. Harn, daughter of William G.
