     Kent Kayne Kitsmiller was born on 31 July 1940 at Dodge City, Ford Co., Kansas.¹ He was the son of Harry Francis Kitsmiller and Violet Ada Weidman. Kent Kayne Kitsmiller was baptized on 20 March 1955 at Spokane, Spokane Co., Washington. He died on 29 June 2017 at age 76.¹ He was buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.¹

     Ronna Dee Kitsmiller is the daughter of Harry Francis Kitsmiller and Violet Ada Weidman.

     Arthur Flannagan Kizer was also known as Kaizer. He was born on 1 December 1871 at Niles, Berrien Co., Michigan.² He married Eva Louella Greenwood, daughter of Andrew Jackson Greenwood and Permelia A. Longley, on 10 April 1900 at St. Joseph Co., Indiana.¹ Arthur Flannagan Kizer died on 9 September 1956 at Niles, Berrien Co., Michigan, at age 84.² He was buried at Sumption Prairie Cemetery, South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.²

     Alfred A. Kjos was born on 11 April 1886 at Spring Grove, Houston Co., Minnesota. He married Anna Rosmina Vick on 3 September 1909 at New Rockford Twsp, Eddy Co., North Dakota. Alfred A. Kjos died on 3 November 1950 at Vancouver, Clark Co., Washington, at age 64.

     Clara Jeanette Kjos was born on 29 January 1910 at Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada.¹ She was born on 29 January 1910 at Sheyenne, Eddy Co., North Dakota.^2,3 She was the daughter of Alfred A. Kjos and Anna Rosmina Vick. Clara Jeanette Kjos married Erton Hugh Hartley, son of Verner Tip Hartley and Artie May Noel, on 19 January 1935 at Kalispell, Flathead Co., Montana.³ Clara Jeanette Kjos died on 4 August 1989 at Petaluma, Sonoma Co., California, at age 79.^2,1 She was buried on 8 August 1989 at Shady Grove Cemetery, Portola, Plumas Co., California.² She was confirmed on 5 June 1927 at First Lutheran Church, Glasgow, Valley Co., Montana.

Clara J. Hartley
A memorial service will be held at 7:30 tonight at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary for Clara J. Hartley who died suddenly Friday at her Petaluma home. She was 79. The Rev. Tim Kellgren will officiate.

Mrs. Hartley was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada, and moved with her family to Montana when she was six.
She was raised and educated in Montana, and lived most of her life there. A homemaker, she moved to Petaluma 21 years ago to be closer to her family.
Mrs. Hartley was the wife of the late Erton Hartley.
She is survived by her children. Marvel Dramis of Utah; Robert Hartley of Novato; Donna Rennier of Petaluma; and Lois Lemon of Sacramento. She was the mother of the late Marlyn Bones.
She also is survived by her brother, Arlo Kjos of San Rafael. She was the sister of the late Leslie Kjos and Ione Henkel.
Mrs. Hartley was the grand- mother of 11, the great-grand- mother of 14, and the great-great- grandmother of one. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Shady Grove Cemetery in Portola. Parent-Sorensen Mortuary is at Magnolia Avenue and Keokuk Street.

     William Coran Kleckner was born on 1 June 1875 at Findlay, Hancock Co., Ohio. He married Lucy A. Ruple, daughter of Andrew Jackson Ruple and Minerva Ashton, on 21 June 1901.¹ William Coran Kleckner died on 27 December 1966 at Plymouth, Marshall Co., Indiana, at age 91. Joseph Kline, age 97, of St. James, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Society - Pleasant View in St. James.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at St. James Catholic Church in St. James with Father Timothy Hall as celebrant.

Burial with military honors will follow at Trebon Cemetery in Montgomery, MN.

Joseph James Kline was born October 30, 1923 in Erin Township, Rice County near Faribault, MN, the son of Frank and Katherine (Uhlir) Kline. Joe was united in marriage to Bozena Bess Vrzal on February 1, 1943 in Montgomery. Joe work for Minnegasco for 37 years retiring in 1984. Joe served in the Army during WWII from 1944 to 1946 serving in the European Theatre. Joe was a member of St. James Catholic Church where he served as a Trustee, on the Church council and was a Lector for many years. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and Past Grand Knight. Joe was also a member of the St. James VFW and past Post Commander, the American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed reading, gardening and taking walks.

He is survived by his children; Connie (Al) Konz of St. James, Linnea (Dennis) Wick of Mankato, Dennie (Barb) Kline of Willmar, Bob (Linda) Kline of St. James, and 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Bess, parents, sisters; Evelyn, Rosella and Lucille.
