She had served as a Cub Scout Den Mother. Survivors include her husband, Daniel Joseph Eddy, children, Laurel Christina Eddy, Nathan Daniel Eddy and Madeline Eddy, all of Flovilla; her parents, Malcom and Mildred Riley Smith, Flovilla; sister, Lillian Cowell, Falls "Church, VA; brothers, Russell Smith, Tucker; Rex Smith, Atlanta and Rod Smith, Flovilla. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Gaithers United Methodist Church in Newton County. Rev. Herman Goddard will officiate, with interment in the Flovilla Cemetery.
