Lewistown- Lucille E. Harn, 87, of Lewistown passed away at 5:05 PM Friday November 10, 2017 at Aperion Care in Galesburg.

She was born October 4, 1930 at Canton the daughter of Lewis E. and Gaynell (Benham) Nash. She married Lewis Harn on June 16, 1951 at Lewistown. He survives along with six children, Richard (Connie) Whiteman of Marietta, David Harn of Lewistown, Janice (Pat) Colglazier of Havana, Connie (Kenneth) Hamm of Sesser, Judy (Don) Howard of Cuba, and Lisa (Mike) Henzler of Lewistown, twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Lucille worked for the City of Lewistown as a school crossing guard for many years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses in Lewistown. Lucille enjoyed her children and grandchildren as well as her church family. She always had a smile on her face.

Cremation will be accorded. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday November 20th at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Elder Stan Shaw officiating. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.      Gracie Juanita Nealy was born on 25 October 1930 at Pine Ridge, Gilliam Co., Oregon.¹ She married Clyde Raymond Hartley, son of Howard Benjamin Hartley and Laverne Lillian O'Neal, on 7 February 1948 at Reno, Washoe Co., Nevada. Gracie Juanita Nealy and Clyde Raymond Hartley were divorced on 21 July 1967 at Klamath Co., Oregon. Gracie Juanita Nealy married Herbert William Waits Jr. in 1971. It is at the foot of the mountains and is beautiful country."¹

Anna Parks
LOVELL, Wyo. - Anna Parks, of Lovell, Wyo., and currently at Western Manor in Billings, Mont., passed away quietly at 9:15 p.m. July 16, 2001, at the age of 91. Her husband, Preston Lee Parks, and first son, Preston Lee Jr. preceded her in death. She is survived by her two sons, Glendon Dale Parks of Casper and Kay Nebel Parks of Camano Island, Wash. Anna also has 13 grandchildren, Gail Parks Allen, Alan Parks, Brent Parks, Wayne Balben, Diane Schofield, James Parks, Mike Rossiter, Terry Parks, Drew Parks, Chris Parks, Barbara Henry, Chuck Parks, Jennifer Edwards. She is also survived by 33 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints Stake Center in Lovell.
Eliza Ann Nebel Parks "Anna" was born Nov. 13, 1909, in Kane, Wyo. She married Preston Lee Parks Oct. 16, 1926, in Lovell, sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple Dec. 1,1949.
Anna had many talents. She was a people person, loved to talk and tell stories. If she didn't know someone, it only took a couple of minutes and they were best of friends. For many years she worked at the Von and Ragsdale Department store in Lovell. In 1975 she started writing for the Lovell Chronicle and did a weekly column enjoyed by not only residents of Lovell, but also many others that had moved from the state. Prior to her column in the Chronicle, Anna also wrote for the Casper Star Tribune. Along with her writing talent, she taught herself to paint and is known in the area for her silhouettes. Anna was also a history buff and because of her interest and love of people, many sought after her knowledge of the Big Horn Basin in researching their own family roots and related events.
Anna lived a full and meaningful life. She worked hard and set a good example for all her posterity. We shall miss her, but look forward to our reunion.

"I, 'Anna', am the third child of Soren C. Nebel and Lucetta Marie Bassett. I was born in a little one room log cabin in Kane, Wyoming, 13 November 1909. I feel fortunate to have the most wonderful parents in the world and the gospel of Jesus Christ. They both have been a great influence in my life. When I was about 4 years
old we moved to Idaho. My fondest childhood memorie s ar e centered around our dry farm on Antelope and Poplar and Ririe . Also Rigby, Idaho where I went to school. We came back to Lovell and Kane 14 February 1921. We were happy to see so many of our relatives here.

While in high school in Kane I met Preston Lee Parks. He was going to school and driving the school bus. He was from St. Louis, Missouri. He was making his home with his sister and her husband, Paul and Lena Parks Warfel, on the M L Ranch near Kane.

We had a great time going to ball games, dances and horse back riding. We were married in Lovell 16 October 1926 by Bishop C. S. Robertson. Our first child arrived early on the morning of July 3, 1927. My husband said he came very near being a firecracker and was almost as red. We named him after his dad. We call him Lee and his dad Pres.

Times were hard in those days and it took a lot of managing to make ends meet. Pres worked on the railroad then. When Lee was six months old we went to St. Louis, Missouri. It was during the depression and Pres couldn't get work. About nine months later we headed back to Lovell, and it really looked good to us.

Our second son was born 25 September 1928 in Lovell. We named him Glendon Dale Parks. Times were still hard then and Pres got a job stringing wire for $5.00 a day. I thought we were rich. Our third boy was born 28 July 1933. We named him Kay Nebel Parks. The happiest day in my life was January 9, 1949 when Pres was
baptized in the LDS Church. We have 12 grandchildren now.⁷ "

     Florence Lois Nebel was born on 23 March 1906 at Kane, Big Horn Co., Wyoming. She was the daughter of Soren C. Nebel and Lucetta Marie Bassett. Florence Lois Nebel died on 16 August 1906.

     Gerald Herbert Nebel was born on 27 July 1916 at Poplar, Bonneville Co., Idaho. He was the son of Soren C. Nebel and Lucetta Marie Bassett. Gerald Herbert Nebel married Patricia Ruth Lasher in 1940.¹ Gerald Herbert Nebel and Patricia Ruth Lasher were divorced.¹ Gerald Herbert Nebel died on 13 September 1967 at Cody, Park Co., Wyoming, at age 51.

     Glendon Lee Nebel was born on 14 August 1947 at Billings, Yellowstone Co., Montana.¹ He was the son of Clyde William Nebel and Gertrude Patricia Davis.

     Horace Earl Nebel was born on 21 October 1919 at Poplar, Bonneville Co., Idaho.¹ He was the son of Soren C. Nebel and Lucetta Marie Bassett. Horace Earl Nebel married Clara Bishop in 1940 at Texas.¹ Horace Earl Nebel and Clara Bishop were divorced.¹ Horace Earl Nebel married Clareece Reimer.¹ Horace Earl Nebel and Clareece Reimer were divorced.¹ Horace Earl Nebel died on 23 March 1970 at Lovell, Big Horn Co., Wyoming, at age 50.

"When I was about two years old, we moved to Kane, Wyoming where I attended school there and in Lovell. In 1940, at the outbreak of the War, I was in Houston, Texas working. I had lost two fingers in a dynamite explosion and I couldn't join the army. I went back to Lovell and worked in the oil fields for awhile and then went to Washington State, where I got into the Marines. I served in the Philippines and the South Pacific. I got my discharge Feb 1945. I worked on the railroad in Montana for several years, then Bermerton, Washington in the Naval Shipyards. We moved back to Lovell and have worked on ranches in Wyoming and Montana.
Gladys' son Phillip is serving a mission in Kentucky; Mary Ann is in the Navy; Davis is in the Air Force in Florida, and James in California.
I work at the Lovell Clay Products Co. where my brother Leland works also."¹

     Leland Soren Nebel was born on 18 October 1907 at Ionia, Big Horn Co., Wyoming. He was the son of Soren C. Nebel and Lucetta Marie Bassett. Leland Soren Nebel died on 23 May 1998 at Lovell, Big Horn Co., Wyoming, at age 90.

"I, Leland Soren Nebel, was born in Kane, Wyoming, 21 October 1907, son of Soren C. Nebel and Lucetta Marie Bassett. In 1913 we moved to Idaho and lived on a dry farm. We were so far from a school, mom taught us at home, so I didn't go to school until I was nine. I finished school in Lovell. We had a farm in Kane and I worked for dad until 1935 when I went to Kansas for a year. I came back to Lovell for a short time then went to Memphis, Tenn. and worked in a munitions plant until I was inducted into the army May 1942. Was stationed in Georgia, Texas, and Tenn. for 16 months. I went to India, Burma and China until November 1945. While I was in India I kept a diary of the war over there. I didn't get to finish it because I couldn't get any more writing paper. It is really interesting to read now after so many years.

February 4, 1946 I married Naomi Maxine Sutherland. We have three children. Stephan Lee, Jack Soren and Leta Ilene. Naomi has two former children, James Lindsay, a chief in the U.S. Navy and Chester Lindsay of Lovell. I work at the Lovell Clay Products Co. in Lovell, Wyoming where my brother Earl also works."¹

     LuAnn Sandra Nebel is the daughter of Clyde William Nebel and Elsie Rose Karman.

     Martin Clyde Nebel was born on 22 September 1954 at Cody, Park Co., Wyoming.¹ He was the son of Clyde William Nebel and Elsie Rose Karman. Martin Clyde Nebel died on 18 July 1977 at Forsyth, Rosebud Co., Montana, at age 22.

     Peggy Jean Nebel was born on 21 October 1925 at Kane, Big Horn Co., Wyoming. She was the daughter of Soren C. Nebel and Lucetta Marie Bassett. Peggy Jean Nebel married Leroy Irvin Conant on 1 July 1944 at Maywood, Los Angeles Co., California.¹ Peggy Jean Nebel died on 31 March 1979 at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah, at age 53.

"I, Peggy Nebel Conant, was born on a balmy September morning in 1925. My parents were Soren C. and Lucetta Bassett Nebel. I was born at the home of my Grandparents, Edwin and Eliza Ann Atkinson Bassett, at Kane, Wyoming. I attended grade school at Kane, Wyoming, where my parents owned a modest farm. By
riding thirty two miles daily on a bus, I was able to attend Lovell High School, from which I graduated in 1943. Shortly after graduation I went to Los Angeles where I met and married Leroy Conant in 1944. Our union has been blessed by three children, Sharon, Richard, and Linda. We have spent a number of years in New York,
and also lived in Indiana and Nebraska, but in 1959 we decided to make our permanent home back in the State of Wyoming."¹
