He is survived by his wife Helen Harn Ross, his children Robert M Ross, Lynn Lott, Beth Kuhn, his grandchildren Matthew Highcove, Adam Highcove, Kelsey deBorja, Sydney Eifert, Ian Eifert and his great granddaughter Lydia deBorja. Roth died on 12 October 1979 at Yakima Co., Washington, at age 57.² He was buried at Zillah Cemetery, Zillah, Yakima Co., Washington.² He was buried at Elmwood Cemetery, Toppenish, Yakima Co., Washington.⁴

     Gary Roth is the son of Alvin R. Roth and Wanda Jeanne McCulley.
