     Steven Jay Nichols was born on 11 November 1959 at Winfield, Cowley Co., Kansas.¹ He was the son of Arthur S. Nichols and Eva J. Maddox.¹ Steven Jay Nichols graduated in 1977 at South Haven High School, South Haven, Sumner Co., Kansas.¹ He married Thresa Counsil between 1977 and 1978 at Oklahoma. Steven Jay Nichols married Susan Renee Struck, daughter of George William Struck and Georgia Fay Warfel, on 4 May 1985. Steven Jay Nichols was employed between 1978 and 2015 at Jim Bridger Power Plant, Point of Rocks, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming.¹ He lived in January 2016 at 508A Yellowstone Road, Rock Springs, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming. The cause of death was Stiff-man syndrome. He died on 20 January 2016 at 508A Yellowstone Road, Rock Springs, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming, at age 56.

Steven J. Nichols (November 11, 1959 – January 20, 2016)

ROCK SPRINGS — Steven J. Nichols 56, of Rock Springs WY, passed away Wednesday, January 20th, 2016 peacefully at his home after fighting a battle with a terminal brain disease.

A longtime resident of Rock Springs, he was born on November 11th, 1959 in Winfield Kansas but always considered himself a Wyoming native.

He attended school in Kansas and was a graduate of South Haven High School class of 1977.

He moved to Rock Springs in 1978 and started working at Jim Bridger Power Plant, where he worked for 37 years.

He married his wife of 30 years Susan Nichols on May 4, 1985.

Steve’s interest included team roping, hunting with his family and training young horses. He especially loved roping at the ranch and going to jackpots with his son.

Survivors include his wife Susan Nichols of Rock Springs, three sons Dan Nichols and wife Sarah Nichols of Rock Springs, Garrett Nichols of Emporia Kansas and Phillip Nichols of Salt Lake City Utah, one daughter Melissa Bruce and husband Rick of Eureka Kansas, mother Eva J. Sapp of Blackwell Oklahoma, sister Susan Kutilek of Wichita Kansas, brother Bruce Crittenden of Oklahoma City Oklahoma, granddaughter Sadie Nichols, two grandsons, Ryan and Adam Bruce.

He is preceded in death by his father Arthur Nichols, stepfather, Orlan Sapp and father in law George Struck.

Steve will be remembered as a great husband, father, friend and cowboy.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 23, 2016, at the Santa Fe Southwest Grill, 1635 Elk Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming.

     Mary Nickels married Emery Morgan, son of Everett Morgan and Daisy Williams.¹

     Hazel Marie Nickerson was born on 26 July 1905 at Pennsylvania. She married Glenn Edward Cotterill circa 1924. Hazel Marie Nickerson died on 13 April 1972 at Ithaca, Tompkins Co., New York, at age 66.

     Hannah Nickle was born on 2 August 1910.¹ She married George Aden Booth, son of Frederick Harold Booth and Pearl Lydia Harn, on 12 October 1944. Hannah Nickle died on 6 December 1985 at age 75.¹ She was buried at Oaklawn Cemetery, Centreville, Wilkinson Co., Mississippi.¹

     Barbara Anna Nicodemus was also known as Nannie. She was born on 9 August 1856 at Frederick, Frederick Co., Maryland, info from 1900 Census.^1,2 She married Samuel E. Harn, son of Abner Harn and Sarah Margaret Eury, in 1892. Barbara Anna Nicodemus died on 5 March 1942 at Unionville, Talbot Co., Maryland, at age 85.^1,2 She was buried at Linganore Cemetery, Unionville, Frederick Co., Maryland.²

     Alaina Justine Nicosia is the daughter of Frank Edward Nicosia and Laura Marie Mangine.¹

     Antoninette Marie Nicosia is the daughter of Frank Thomas Nicosia and Muriel Pauline Nestaval. Antoninette Marie Nicosia married Mark Michael Anderson on 25 August 1978 at Minnesota.²

     Dominic Francis Nicosia is the son of Frank Edward Nicosia and Laura Marie Mangine.¹

     Frank Edward Nicosia is the son of Frank Thomas Nicosia and Muriel Pauline Nestaval. Frank Edward Nicosia married Laura Marie Mangine, daughter of Douglas Francis Mangine and Sharon Marie McDonough, on 14 October 1995 at Minnesota.²

     Frank Thomas Nicosia was born on 13 November 1925 at St. Paul, Ramsey Co., Minnesota. He married Muriel Pauline Nestaval, daughter of Edward John Nestaval and Agnes Martha Szermeta, on 30 October 1959 at Ramsey Co., Minnesota. Frank Thomas Nicosia died on 27 August 1980 at Ramsey Co., Minnesota, at age 54.      John Nielsen married Glenda Sue Harris, daughter of Jack Edison Harris and Rosella June Perkins.

     Male Nielsen married Laverna Mae Bartlett, daughter of William Leland Bartlett and Pearl Violet Noel, before 1984.

     Susan Christian Nielsen married Douglas Crocker Brengle MD, son of William Curtis Brengle and Agnes Carter Crocker, on 2 October 1982 at Knox Presbyterian Church, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio.

     Bryce James Niemeyer is the son of William Jo Niemeyer and Kathleen Marie Austin. Bryce James Niemeyer married Kelly Lou Pieper on 27 May 2017 at Rice Co., Minnesota.

     Katie Jo Niemeyer is the daughter of William Jo Niemeyer and Kathleen Marie Austin.

     Tyler Scott Niemeyer is the son of William Jo Niemeyer and Kathleen Marie Austin. Tyler Scott Niemeyer married Sarah Uhrich on 19 June 2010 at Custer, Custer Co., South Dakota.

     William Jo Niemeyer married Kathleen Marie Austin, daughter of Ronald Joseph Austin and Bonita Ann McCarthy, on 19 November 1983 at Olmsted Co., Minnesota.¹

     John Francis Nightingale married Anna Krol.¹

     Robert William Nightingale was born on 26 January 1919 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania.² He was the son of John Francis Nightingale and Anna Krol.¹ Robert William Nightingale married Josephine Harn, daughter of Arlet Eustace Harn and Josephine McBarnes, on 13 October 1938 at Cumberland, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania.² Robert William Nightingale and Josephine Harn were divorced.² Robert William Nightingale died on 21 October 1967 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California, at age 48.² He was buried in October 1967 at Grand View Cemetery, Glendale, Los Angeles Co., California.²

     Alvira C. Niles was born on 15 April 1840 at Otsego, Otsego Co., New York. She married Amos A. Barton on 24 December 1860 at Otsego Co., New York. Alvira C. Niles died in 1930 at Denver, Denver Co., Colorado.
