     Frank Carter was born on 25 June 1870 at Steubenville, Jefferson Co., Ohio.¹ He married Minnie Harn, daughter of Alfred Milton Harn and Nancy Grove, on 13 April 1886 at Detroit, Michigan. Frank Carter married Sara Hochstein. Frank Carter died on 19 August 1940 at Clarion, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania, at age 70.¹ He was buried at Clarion Cemetery, Clarion, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.¹

Frank Carter, 70, died at his home, 607 South Street at 3:35 a.m., Monday, August 19. Mr. Carter was born at Steubenville, Ohio, June 25, 1870, a son of John Dawson and Margaret Johnson Carter. On April 13, 1886, he married Minnie Horn, who preceded him in death a number of years ago. His second marriage was to Sara Hochstein. For the past several years he has been caretaker of the First Methodist church and has been a resident of Clarion for 26 years. He was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving are his wife, three sons, John D. Carter, Clarion; Frank Carter, Jr., and Earl, of Sapulpa, Okla; five daughters, Mrs. Eula Fridley, Indianapolis, Ind; Mrs. John Dickey, Brackenridge; Mrs. Charley Bigley, Mrs. Floyd Bigley, of Clarion; Mrs. Frank Knecht, Cleveland, and a sister, Nellie Wike, of Freedom. Twenty-five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday at the Methodist church with Rev. Mark Parry, pastor, officiating, assisted by Dr. D. A. Platt. Interment will be in Clarion cemetery.

     Isabelle Burwell Carter was born on 27 June 1891 at Richmond, Virginia. She married Douglas Crocker, son of Alvah Crocker and Charlotte Trowbridge Bartow, on 30 April 1924 at All Saints' Episcopal Church, Richmond, Virginia. Isabelle Burwell Carter died on 13 December 1988 at Fitchburg, Worcester Co., Massachusetts, at age 97.


Crocker-Carter Wedding

Among brilliant functions of this season in Richmond was the wedding of Miss Isabelle Burwell Carter, daughter of Mrs. Thomas Nelson Carter and the late Thomas Nelson Carter, to Douglas Crocker, son of Mr. anil Mrs. Alvah Crocker of Fitching Mass., which took place at All Saints' Episcopal Church yesterday afternoon at 12:10 o'clock. The ceremony was performed by the rector Rev. J.Y. Downman, D.D., assisted by Rev William T. Crocker of New York, an uncle of the bridegroom. The church was decorated with Easter lilies and cathedral candles.
The bride entered with her uncle, Spencer Carter, who gave her in marriage. She wore a gown of ivory satin draped at the side and held with sprays of orange blossoms. The yoke of the gown was fashioned of satin and point d'Angleterre lace and the court train was of satin and point d'Angleterre lace. Her veil of tulle was held with a coronet of the same lace and she carried a bouquet of lilies of the valley and white orchids.
Mrs. Shaun Kelly of Richmond, Mass., was matron of honor. Miss Isabelle Mayo Cameron of Raleigh, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Misses Sallie Taliaferro Cameron and Miss Elizabeth Preston Cocke. They wore imported frocks and carried bouquets of spring flowers, delphinium and tea roses.
Mr. Crocker had for his best man Gavin Hadden, of New York, and his ushers were George W Martin of New York; Barton Crocker of Fitchburg; Norman Harrower of Fitchburg; Richard B. Wigglesworth, of Boston; Arthur Sweeney Lawrence, of Boston; Charles D. Osborne Auburn, N.Y; Shaun Kelly, of Richmond, Mass., and Frank C. Page of New York.
The ceremony was followed by a breakfast at the home of the bride, 206 West Franklin Street. The guests Included the out-of town guests and intimate friends. The drawing-room where Mr. and Mrs. Crocker and Mrs. Carter received their guests was decorated with pink roses and the library was in yellow flowers and the dining-room was decorated with spring flowers. Mrs. Carter wore a beautiful gown of black beaded georgette and a bouquet of orchids.
Mr. and Mrs. Crocker left yesterday afternoon for Washington and will go from there to New York and sail Saturday on the steamship "Olympic", -landing at Southampton. Mr. and Mrs. Crocker will spend the next three months traveling In France, Spain and Italy, returning the last of July to Fitchburg, where they will make their future home.

     John Archie Carter was born on 25 April 1885 at Asherville, Mitchell Co., Kansas.¹ He married Sadye Alice Harn, daughter of Thornton Fleming Harn II and Phoebe Laura Dayton, on 22 December 1915 at Asherville, Mitchell Co., Kansas.² John Archie Carter died on 13 July 1944 at Concordia, Cloud Co., Kansas, at age 59.¹ He was buried at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Cloud Co., Kansas.¹ Between 1928 and 1944 John Archie Carter was a barber, at Concordia, Cloud Co., Kansas.

     Joseph Carter married Lydia Bartley.

     Alexander Cartwright was born on 20 August 1872 at Riddlesburg, Bedford Co., Pennsylvania.¹ He married Mary Jane Darr on 29 September 1897 at Everett, Bedford Co., Pennsylvania. Alexander Cartwright married Lydia Estelle Harn, daughter of Thornton Fleming Harn Sr. and Margaret Esther Molter, in 1900. Alexander Cartwright and Mary Jane Darr were divorced before 1910. Alexander Cartwright died on 24 December 1936 at Beaver Falls, Beaver Co., Pennsylvania, at age 64.¹ He was buried on 27 December 1936 at Beaver Cemetery and Mausoleum, Beaver, Beaver Co., Pennsylvania.¹

     Wilbur Harold Cartwright was born on 12 August 1902 at Beaver Falls, Beaver Co., Pennsylvania.¹ He was the son of Alexander Cartwright and Lydia Estelle Harn. Wilbur Harold Cartwright died on 12 July 1940 at Bridgewater, Beaver Co., Pennsylvania, at age 37.¹ He was buried on 15 May 1940 at Beaver Cemetery and Mausoleum, Beaver, Beaver Co., Pennsylvania.¹

     Rosina C. Caserotto was born on 14 September 1928 at Superior, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming.² She married Anthony Paul Legerski, son of Michael Frank Legerski Sr. and Anna Roman, on 4 April 1964 at Rock Springs, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming.¹ Rosina C. Caserotto died on 8 May 2012 at Rock Springs, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming, at age 83.² She was buried at Rock Springs Cemetery, Rock Springs, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming.² She lived in March 2006 at Rock Springs, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming.³

     Norma Demeryle Casey was born on 30 August 1938. She married Lawrence G. Weigle on 3 March 1955 at Lubbock Co., Texas. Norma Demeryle Casey married Donald Gane Harn, son of Onzelo Gane Harn and Anna Bell Ackerson. Norma Demeryle Casey married Roy Edward Fields. Norma Demeryle Casey died in 2022 at Washington Co., Arkansas.

     Jane H. Cassidy was born on 1 March 1901 at Lowell, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.¹ She married Russell Hill Costello, son of Louis Bartlett Costello and Sarah May Bracket, on 5 May 1928 at Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts. Jane H. Cassidy died on 20 September 1988 at Lewiston, Androscoggin Co., Maine, at age 87.¹ She was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Lewiston, Androscoggin Co., Maine.¹ She graduated in 1924 at Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing, Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts.

     Huey E. Caster married Cheryl Lynn Bullington, daughter of Leslie Allen Bullington and Viola Virginia Struck, on 26 July 2018.¹

Farguhar on 4 December 1956 at Cheyenne, Laramie Co., Wyoming. Lu Etta Caster married William Dwight Lowrance in 1961. Lu Etta Caster died on 4 August 2019 at Corpus Christi, Nueces Co., Texas, at age 90.

     Mabel Gertrude Caster was born on 11 February 1876 at Beloit, Mitchell Co., Kansas.¹ She married John Delphos Pence, son of Peter David Pence and Mary Priscilla Harn, on 17 July 1898 at Foster, Monroe Co., Iowa.¹ Mabel Gertrude Caster died on 23 May 1958 at Monroe Co., Iowa, at age 82.¹

     Marvin Perl Caster was born on 30 May 1884 at Monroe Co., Iowa. He married Irma Petersen on 7 April 1917 at Platte Co., Wyoming. Marvin Perl Caster died on 8 November 1964 at Laramie Co., Wyoming, at age 80.
