ST IGNATIUS - Funeral services for Ross Dupuis, 58, of St. Ignatius will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Fearon Chapel with the Rev. John Hull officiating.
Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites by Lodge 112 of St. Ignatius and full military rites by McCarthy Post 106, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Dupuis' body was found by a search party Sunday near Dixon. He had been missing since Nov. 20 when he and his daughter, Mrs. Annie Marie Hammond, were caught in a severe snowstorm while hunting. Mrs. Hammond's body was found Nov. 21.
A search party composed of Mrs. Ross Dupuis' nephew, Gene Morigeau, and his sons, Ronnie and David, and James Fargher, found Dupuis' body in a clearing approximately 11 miles north of Dixon on the Moss Ranch.
Mr. Dupuis was born Jan. 27, 1912, at Polson where he attended grade and high school. He later attended the Rapid City Indian School at Rapid City, S.D.
He moved to St. Ignatius in 1938 where he was employed by the Bureau of Reclamation as a lineman. He retired from government service in March of 1970. He had been farming northeast of St. Ignatius since 1953.
Mr. Dupuis married Dorothy Decker, Nov. 19, 1935. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in St. Ignatius and was a veteran of the Pacific Theater in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, and a son, Greg, both of the family home; a granddaughter; three brothers, Fran- cis of St. Ignatius, Harold of Pablo, and Dan of Tacoma, Wash., and two sisters, Mrs. Phillis Flemming, Polson, and Mrs. Florence Young of Mead, Wash.
Funeral services are pending at the Fearon Chapel in St. Ignatius, and have tentatively been set for Thursday.

Ross Dupuis' Body Found On Moss Ranch
The body of Ross Dupuis, 63, of St. Ignatius, was found in a clearing on the Moss Ranch about 11 miles north of Dixon last Sunday. He had been missing since going on a hunting trip with his daughter on Nov. 20.
The frozen body of his daughter, Mrs. Ann Hammond, 19, was found Nov. 21 by a logging crew as they were plowing open a logging road.
The pair apparently froze to death during the severe winter storm which swept through the area Nov. 20.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hammond were held last week in St. Ignatius. Final rites for Mr. Dupuis are pending.

     Victor A. Dupuis was born on 24 February 1878 at Polson, Lake Co., Montana.¹ He was the son of Camille Dupuis and Philomine Augusta Finley. Victor A. Dupuis married Rose Ashley on 6 November 1901 at Missoula Co., Montana. Victor A. Dupuis died on 7 January 1955 at Polson, Lake Co., Montana, at age 76.¹ He was buried at Lakeview Cemetery, Polson, Lake Co., Montana.¹

     Loyd Ross Duro was born on 20 November 1932 at Springfield, Greene Co., Missouri.^2,3,4 He married Violet Estelle Redman, daughter of James Roby Redman and Ruby Fellows, on 11 November 1968 at Nampa, Canyon Co., Idaho.⁵ The cause of death was Cancer. His Social Security Number was 519-28-3112 issued in Idaho. Loyd Ross Duro died on 14 May 1982 at Nampa, Canyon Co., Idaho, at age 49.^2,3,4

Loyd Ross Duro, 49, McCall, died Friday at his parents home in Nampa. He was born November 20, 1932, at Springfield, Mo., the son of Clarence and Dessie Stephens Duro. He moved with his family to Nampa in 1938 and was reared and educated there, graduating from Nampa in 1951. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. He later worked with his father in an auto parts business for 10 years and later was an automobile representative. He married Violet Redman Nov. 11, 1968 in Nampa. They made their home in Idaho and Oregon. They moved to McCall in 1977 and operated an antique shop there. He was a member of the Nampa First Baptist Church; past exalted Ruler of both Nampa Lodge No. 1389 and McCall Lodge No. 2569, B.P.O.E., state vice-president of the Elks Lodge; Board of Directors for the McCall Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the McCall Winter Carnival.

He is survived by his wife Violet of McCall; three sons, David Duro, Nampa; Martin Luhr, Boise, and Rick Luhr of Cincinnati, Ohio. Two daughters, Lorene Moon of Redmond, Ore. and Debi Luhr of Boise; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Duro, Nampa; and two grandchildren.³

He was buried at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell, Canyon Co., Idaho.^3,4

At San Antonio, Monday, Jan. 7, 1895, at 7:40 p. m., the residence of her son, Dr. Alen D., Mrs. Zerne Ann Duval Harn, familiarly known throughout Texas as "Grandma Harn", in the 85th year of her age. Her remains will reach this city at 1:15 p.m. today and will be carried direct to the cemetery. Dr. Lee officiating. Both of her sons, Dr. Allen D., of San Antonio and Capt. Tyler D., at Waco were at her bedside when the call came. Her death was eminently peaceful. The friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral.
