Dupuis' body was found by a search party Sunday near Dixon. He had been missing since Nov. 20 when he and his daughter, Mrs. Annie Marie Hammond, were caught in a severe snowstorm while hunting. Mrs. Hammond's body was found Nov. 21.
A search party composed of Mrs. Ross Dupuis' nephew, Gene Morigeau, and his sons, Ronnie and David, and James Fargher, found Dupuis' body in a clearing approximately 11 miles north of Dixon on the Moss Ranch.
Mr. Dupuis was born Jan. 27, 1912, at Polson where he attended grade and high school. He later attended the Rapid City Indian School at Rapid City, S.D.
He moved to St. Ignatius in 1938 where he was employed by the Bureau of Reclamation as a lineman. He retired from government service in March of 1970. He had been farming northeast of St. Ignatius since 1953.
Mr. Dupuis married Dorothy Decker, Nov. 19, 1935. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in St. Ignatius and was a veteran of the Pacific Theater in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, and a son, Greg, both of the family home; a granddaughter; three brothers, Fran- cis of St. Ignatius, Harold of Pablo, and Dan of Tacoma, Wash., and two sisters, Mrs. Phillis Flemming, Polson, and Mrs. Florence Young of Mead, Wash.
Funeral services are pending at the Fearon Chapel in St. Ignatius, and have tentatively been set for Thursday.

The body of Ross Dupuis, 63, of St. Ignatius, was found in a clearing on the Moss Ranch about 11 miles north of Dixon last Sunday. He had been missing since going on a hunting trip with his daughter on Nov. 20.
The frozen body of his daughter, Mrs. Ann Hammond, 19, was found Nov. 21 by a logging crew as they were plowing open a logging road.
The pair apparently froze to death during the severe winter storm which swept through the area Nov. 20.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hammond were held last week in St. Ignatius. Final rites for Mr. Dupuis are pending.

He was a member of the Nampa First Baptist Church; past exalted Ruler of both Nampa Lodge No. 1389 and McCall Lodge No. 2569, B.P.O.E., state vice-president of the Elks Lodge; Board of Directors for the McCall Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the McCall Winter Carnival.

Tyler D., at Waco were at her bedside when the call came. Her death was eminently peaceful. The friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral.
