     Charity Hadden married Jonathan Purdy, son of Jonathan Purdy and Mary Hart. Charity Hadden was born on 10 December 1732.¹ She was the daughter of Job Hadden and Elizabeth Griffen. Charity Hadden died on 25 March 1814 at age 81.^2,3 She was buried at Jonathan Purdy Family Cemetery, White Plains, Westchester Co., New York.³

Jeffery Scott Hadsall died on 12 December 2017 at Canton, Fulton Co., Illinois, at age 61.¹ He was buried at Waterford Cemetery, Lewistown, Fulton Co., Illinois.¹

     Joseph Stuart Hadsall was born on 26 September 1976 at Canton, Fulton Co., Illinois.¹ He was the son of Jeffery Scott Hadsall and Connie Jo Harn. Joseph Stuart Hadsall graduated in 1994 at Lewistown High School, Lewistown, Fulton Co., Illinois. He married Jolene Tompkins on 11 March 2000 at Lewistown, Fulton Co., Illinois. Joseph Stuart Hadsall died on 6 December 2007 at Lewistown, Fulton Co., Illinois, at age 31.¹ He was buried at Waterford Cemetery, Lewistown, Fulton Co., Illinois.¹

Nellie Mae Hagood married Lee Sellon Purdy, son of Myron Sellon Purdy and Carrie Coykendall, on 8 April 1919 at Coffeyville, Montgomery Co., Kansas. Nellie Mae Hagood lived in 1962 at Coffeyville, Montgomery Co., Kansas. She died on 17 March 1971 at Coffeyville, Montgomery Co., Kansas, at age 70.² She was buried on 20 March 1971 at Fairview Cemetery, Coffeyville, Montgomery Co., Kansas.² Social Security Death Index (b- 13Apr1900 d- Mar1971 KS).

Funeral services are incomplete for Mrs. Nellie Mae Purdy, 70, of 810 W. Fourth, who died Wednesday afternoon in Coffeyville Memorial Hospital. She had been a patient of the intensive care unit since suffering a heart attack at her home on March 6.
The daughter of Ollie and Stella Hagood, Mrs. Purdy was born April 13, 1900 at Fayetteville, Ark. She moved with her parents as a small child to Dearing. She was married her to Lee S. Purdy April 6, 1919 and the couple moved to a home at 810 W. Fourth where Mrs. Purdy resided at the time of her death. Mr. Purdy, who was a printer at The Journal for over 50 years, died Oct 212, 1963.
Mrs. Purdy opened Nell's Beauty Shop in her home in 1929 and was active as a beautician until she became ill. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Kansas State Cosmetology Association and Southeast Kansas Cosmetologist's Unit 16. Survivors include a son, Gene of Baxter Springs; a brother, Floyd Hagood of Neosho, Mo; and three grandchildren.
