     Mary Josephine Pence was born on 4 November 1857 at Moravia, Appanoose Co., Iowa.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Daniel Pence and Jane Fisher.¹ Mary Josephine Pence died on 13 January 1860 at Moravia, Appanoose Co., Iowa, at age 2.¹

     May Emma Pence was born on 21 August 1901 at Scottsville, Mitchell Co., Kansas.¹ She was the daughter of Delphas J. Pence and Mabel Gertrude Caster.¹ May Emma Pence married Charles Tyrell on 21 December 1927.¹ May Emma Pence died on 9 August 1947 at age 45.¹

     Orman Harold Pence was born on 3 April 1900 at Appanoose Co., Iowa.¹ He was the son of Delphas J. Pence and Mabel Gertrude Caster.¹ Orman Harold Pence married Ruby Kythren Morris on 22 April 1923.¹ Orman Harold Pence died on 24 July 1974 at age 74.¹

     Peter David Pence was born on 29 April 1845 at Muskingum Co., Ohio.³ He was the son of Robert Daniel Pence and Jane Fisher.³ Peter David Pence was born circa 1846 at Ohio. He married Mary Priscilla Harn, daughter of Thornton Fleming Harn and Martha Anne Cumpston, on 10 March 1874 at Centerville, Appanoose Co., Iowa.³ Peter David Pence died on 14 January 1913 at Moravia, Appanoose Co., Iowa, at age 67.³

     Richard Miller Pence was born on 6 March 1917 at Moravia, Appanoose Co., Iowa.¹ He was the son of Rozell Pence and Lena Pansy Miller.¹ Richard Miller Pence married Lu Etta Caster, daughter of Marvin Perl Caster, on 5 November 1952 at Wheatland, Platte Co., Wyoming.¹ Richard Miller Pence and Lu Etta Caster were divorced in 1953.¹ Richard Miller Pence died on 27 September 2003 at Cheyenne, Laramie Co., Wyoming, at age 86.¹ He was buried on 30 September 2003 at Bethel Cemetery, Cheyenne, Laramie Co., Wyoming.¹

     Robert Daniel Pence was born on 17 February 1818 at Greene Co., Pennsylvania.¹ He married Jane Fisher on 4 June 1843 at Muskingum Co., Ohio.¹ Robert Daniel Pence died on 23 May 1897 at Moravia, Appanoose Co., Iowa, at age 79.¹

     Rudolph Woodrow Pence was born circa 1902. He was the son of Allen Elwood Pence and Emma Lydia Taylor.¹ Rudolph Woodrow Pence married Bonita Leona Lagle.¹

     Sarah Jane Pence was born on 11 January 1854 at Licking Co., Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Daniel Pence and Jane Fisher.¹ Sarah Jane Pence died on 24 February 1920 at Moravia, Appanoose Co., Iowa, at age 66.¹

     Virgil Zell Pence was born on 1 December 1909 at Moravia, Appanoose Co., Iowa.^2,1 He was the son of Delphas J. Pence and Mabel Gertrude Caster.¹ Virgil Zell Pence married Alta Claver on 24 January 1934.¹ The cause of death was Heart attack. Virgil Zell Pence died on 3 May 1968 at Moravia, Appanoose Co., Iowa, at age 58.^2,1 He was buried at Graceland Cemetery, Knoxville, Marion Co., Iowa.²

     Wilbert Orpha Pence was also known as Bert D.² He was born on 9 December 1877 at Appanoose Co., Iowa.¹ He was the son of Peter David Pence and Mary Priscilla Harn. Wilbert Orpha Pence died on 2 April 1967 at Cheyenne, Laramie Co., Wyoming, at age 89.

     William Henry Pence was born on 18 March 1848 at Dresden, Muskingum Co., Ohio.¹ He was the son of Robert Daniel Pence and Jane Fisher.¹ William Henry Pence died on 6 June 1928 at Moravia, Appanoose Co., Iowa, at age 80.¹

Patterson and Katherine Ann Speece, on 23 December 1933 at Gering, Scotts Bluff Co., Nebraska.¹ Zelma Gertrude Pence died on 24 February 1998 at Cheyenne, Laramie Co., Wyoming, at age 86.^1,2 She was buried on 28 February 1998 at Bethel Cemetery, Cheyenne, Laramie Co., Wyoming.^1,2

     Otto Pendl was born on 27 August 1914 at Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois. He married Pearl Ackerson, daughter of William Perry Ackerson and Mary Etta Smith, in 1944.¹ Otto Pendl died on 18 November 2009 at Tazewell Co., Illinois, at age 95.

     Sarah Anne Penn was born on 3 February 1830.² She married Otho Reynolds Douty, son of James Douty and Corrilla Harn, on 4 September 1851 at Frederick Co., Maryland.^1,3 Sarah Anne Penn died on 27 June 1913 at age 83.² She was buried in 1914 at Douty Family Cemetery, Harrisville, Carroll Co., Maryland.²

     Sharon Kay Pereira married Dr. Robert Sidney Gehrman DVM, son of Dr. Fredrick Wilbert Gehrman DVM and Mary Featherstone Perkins, on 24 July 1971 at Alameda, Alameda Co., California.¹ Sharon Kay Pereira and Dr. Robert Sidney Gehrman DVM were divorced on 9 May 1989 at Hennepin Co., Minnesota.

     Abraham Perkins was born in 1640.¹ He was the son of Quartermaster John Perkins Jr. and Elizabeth Eveleth.² Abraham Perkins married Hannah Beamsley.¹ Abraham Perkins died on 27 April 1722.¹

     Ada A. Perkins was born on 24 October 1882 at Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.¹ She was the daughter of Hartson Ellsworth Perkins and Violet P. Ellsworth. Birth record lists child as female Perkins, father as H.E. Perkins. Ada A. Perkins died on 10 October 1892 at Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota, at age 9.² The cause of death was Diphtheria.² She was buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.

Miss Ada Amanda, the nine year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Perkins, died this morning from diphtheria. The child was taken sick some time ago and was on the way to recovery when she suffered relapse which resulted in her death. The funeral was held late this afternoon. Rev. H.C.      Ada Amanda Perkins was born on 22 November 1893 at Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.³ She was the daughter of Marshall Timothy Perkins and Anna Rolfe Purdy.

Miss Ada Perkins and Thos. J. Seiz were married at a nuptial mass at St. Joseph's church at 6 o'clock this morning by Rev Father Carey. The bride was attended by Miss Christina Seiz and the groom by Albert Metzler. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of Mr. Seiz' parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Seiz, 1012 Main street. The happy couple left on the 8:35 o'clock train for the Twin Cities and Duluth on their wedding trip. The bride is the daughter of M.T. Perkins of this city. Mr. Seiz is a conductor on the Great Western road. They will make their home in this city. Ada Amanda Perkins married Thomas John Seiz, son of William G. Seiz and Ellen Mary McGuinn, on 31 July 1913 at Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.

The body of Mrs. T.J. Seiz, 59, lifelong Red Wing resident who resided at 1026 Main street, was found floating in the Red Wing bay this morning (Wednesday) Lambert Schafer when he reported for work as caretaker of the city dumping grounds.
County Coroner Russell F. Edstrom was conducting an investigation today to determine the cause of death. He said that Mrs. Seiz either fell into the bay or leaped into the water from the dike leading to Bay Point. She was last seen alive Tuesday night at about 8 o'clock when her husband left the Seiz home for work. Her body was found shortly before 8 o'clock this morning about 30 feet from the caretaker's cabin on the city dumping grounds.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.T. Perkins, Mrs. Seiz was born November 22, 1893, in Red Wing and had resided in this city all her life. She was married to T.J. Seiz July 31, 1913.
She is survived, besides her husband, by one son, T. Robert Seiz of Red Wing; two daughters, Mrs. J.E. (Grace) Anderson, San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. L.F. (Frances) Graner, Mason City, Iowa; five sisters, Mrs. W.B. Davis, Milwaukee, Wis; Mrs. C.J. Johnson, Mrs. G.E. Carlson and Mrs. Carl Adler, all of Red Wing, and Mrs. Delta Coleen [sic], Faribault; two brothers, Ed Perkins, St. Paul, and Lawrence Perkins, Los Angeles, Calif., and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the Ferrin mortuary Friday at 2 p.m. Friends may call at Ferrin's Thursday afternoon and in the evening up until 9 o'clock.

Seiz, lifelong resident of the city whose body was found floating in the Red Wing bay Wednesday morning, will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic church with Rev. Derham Ryan officiating. Internment will be in Calvary cemetery.⁴ Ada Amanda Perkins died on 24 June 1953 at Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota, at age 59.³ She was buried on 26 June 1953 at Calvary Cemetery, Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.^4,5 SOURCE: Donald W.      Albra Jonathan Perkins was also known as Ally.¹ He was born on 21 June 1893 at Morris, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.^2,3 He was the son of Charles Raymond Perkins and Florence Eugenia Twombley. Albra Jonathan Perkins married Cecil Gladys Myers, daughter of Uriah Hamilton Myers and Luella Thankful Webley, on 7 June 1915 at Brewster, Okanogan Co., Washington. Albra Jonathan Perkins married Estella Rebecca Draper, daughter of Zemira Terry Draper and Olga Josephine Poulson, on 10 December 1960 at Seattle, King Co., Washington. Albra Jonathan Perkins died on 25 October 1974 at Seattle, King Co., Washington, at age 81.^2,3 Social Security Death Index (b- 21Jun1893 d- Oct1974). Not find Albra in Goodhue County Birth Records.      Alfred H. Perkins was born on 26 November 1867 at Featherstone Twsp., Goodhue Co., Minnesota.^3,4,5 He was the son of Hartson Ellsworth Perkins and Violet P. Ellsworth. Alfred H. Perkins was a Farmer, rural mailclerk.

The marriage of Miss Jennie Willets Purdy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Purdy, of Burnside, to Alfred H. Perkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Perkins, will take place on Wednesday, April 24, at 3 p.m. at the home of the bride's parents in Burnside. The ceremony was performed by Rev. C.H. Plummer, rector of Christ church. In the evening a reception was held, which was attended by about sixty. Mr. and Mrs. Perkins will make their home in Featherstone. He married Jennie W. Purdy, daughter of David Willets Purdy and Frances Mary Rolfe, on 24 April 1889 at Burnside, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.

Funeral services over the remains of the late Alfred H. Perkins were held this morning at 10:30 o'clock at the residence on West Sixth street. The pall bearers, members of the Workmen lodge, to which the deceased belonged, were G. Schlenter, R. Kolbe, Oliver Comstock, J.O. Hancock, Felix Lindberg, and S.S. Lundquist. Rev. C.C. Rollit, assisted by Rev. C.H. Plummer, of Lake City, read the funeral service. Those from out of town were Dr. and Mrs. Frank Perkins of Ellsworth.

Alfred H. Perkins died at noon Sunday at his home on West Sixth street. Mr. Perkins has been failing in health for a long time and death was not unexpected. He was born in Featherstone on Oct. 26, 1867. Besides his wife and three children, Harry, Burton and Genevieve, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. V.E. Perkins, who is now visiting in Houston, Texas, and four brothers, Marshall T. Perkins of Red Wing, Dr. Frank Perkins of Ellsworth, and Dr. Burton Perkins of Houston, Texas, and one sister, Mrs. C.L. Jones of Boston. Funeral services will be held at the residence Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock, Rev. C.C. Rollit officiating. Alfred H. Perkins died on 15 April 1906 at Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota, at age 38.^4,5 The cause of death was softening of Brain. He was buried on 18 April 1906 at Oakwood Cemetery, Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.^6,5 Alfred H. Perkins was a Episcopal.

Alfred H. Perkins was born in Featherstone, this county, October 26, 1867, a scion of old New England stock. His parents, H. and Violetta E. (Ellsworth) Perkins, left New England in the late 1850's and located on a farm in the county of Goodhue, coming to Red Wing in the early 1870's.
Here the father was engaged in several business ventures, continuing his connection with same until his death. The mother now makes her home in Boston, Mass. Alfred received his education in the public schools of Red Wing, farmed five years at Featherstone, engaged in the livery business at Red Wing for a time, and then returned to Featherstone again. In 1895 he removed to Hartland, Pierce county, Wisconsin, and followed farming there until 1900, after which he entered the employ of the government as rural mail clerk. He died April 15, 1906. Thus cut off in the prime of manhood, there is doubtless much that he would have accomplished had he lived man's allotted span of days. His life was characterized by hard work and family devotion, and his death was a distinct bereavement to the community as well as to his loving family. He was a Republican in politics, a communicant of the Episcopal church and a member of the Modern Workmen.
Mr. Perkins was married April 24, 1889, at Burnside, Minn., to Jennie W. Purdy, daughter of David and Mary F. (Rolfe) Purdy, natives of New York. They came to Minnesota in 1864 and located on a farm in Goodhue township, where they remained for some time, after which they retired and moved to Red Wing, where the father died. The mother died May 19, 1905. To Mr. and Mrs. Alfred H. Perkins were born three children: Harry H., born August 1, 1892, Burton T., born October 14, 1896, and Genevieve, born September 19, 1897. The family residence is at 1604 West Sixth Street.

     Alfrieta Perkins was born on 1 August 1892 at Wisconsin.¹ She was the daughter of Jonathan Raymond Perkins and Alfrieta Twombly.¹ Alfrieta Perkins was also known as Allie.¹ She married Rasmus Benhardus Garstad on 22 March 1910 at Minister, Snohomish Co., Washington. Alfrieta Perkins died on 6 September 1980 at Washington at age 88; Certificate Number:      021055.

     Alice Faye Perkins was born on 6 April 1953 at Brownsville, Fayette Co., Pennsylvania.^1,2 She was the daughter of Preston Wesley Perkins and Anna Catherine Harn. Alice Faye Perkins lived in December 1961 at Arensburg, Fayette Co., Pennsylvania.³ She died on 15 January 1974 at Johnstown, Cambria Co., Pennsylvania, at age 20.^1,2 She was buried at Acklin Cemetery, Luzerne Twsp., Fayette Co., Pennsylvania.²

Alice Faye Perkins, 21, former resident of E. Millsboro, and Isabella died Jan. 15, 1974 in Conemaugh Valley Hospital, Jonestown, Pa. She had been a patient at the Ebensburg State Hospital & School since 1962. She was born in Brownsville, April 6, 1952, a daughter of the late Preston and Catherine Harn Perkins. Surviving are five sisters and nine brothers. She was buried in Acklin Cemetery.

     Andrew Perkins is the son of Jonathan Perkins MD and Sarah Westberg.¹
