     Singleton Wesley Harn was born on 1 June 1802 at Carroll Co., Maryland.^1,2 He was the son of Denton Harn and Rachel Ruth Pickett. Singleton Wesley Harn married Maria Cordelia Harn, daughter of Caleb (II) Harn and Charity Duval, circa September 1825 at Frederick Co., Maryland.³ Singleton Wesley Harn died on 16 July 1879 at Friendship Factory, Maryland, at age 77.^1,2
      Singleton Wesley Harn was a Owner of a Woolen Factory. Marriage License dated Sept 12, 1825. Singleton married his first-cousin, Maria C. Harn. He appeared on the census of 1830 at Frederick Co., Maryland. Politics: Whig. He appeared on the census of 29 August 1850 at District 8, Frederick Co., Maryland; listed as 49 years old with a profession of manufacturer of cloth.

Singleton Harn was born in 1790, in Carroll County, Md. He was a small boy when his parents removed to the old Friendship Woolen Mill in Linganore District. His educational advantages were limited, but he was a studious youth and managed to acquire a thorough education through careful reading and study. He learned the trade of making woolens from the wool in the rough, to the finished cloth, lindsey, and blankets. His preceptors in the business were Messrs. Marsh and O'Neil. In 1857, Mr. Harn purchased the factory and the farm of 230 acres which surrounded it, where he continued to manufacture high grade woolens until the infirmities of age became a burden, when is son, William, assumed the management. They had a deservedly large trade, and their reputation spread through several states. Their blankets were especially celebrated, selling as high as thirty dollars per pair. Mr. Harn was not only master of the art of making fine woolens, but was a thorough business man and knew well how to buy the rough and sell the finished product to the best advantage. He was a Whig, interested in political affairs, and was well-known and highly esteemed in the community. Singleton Harn was married, in early manhood, to Maria Cordelia Harn, of Carroll County, who was born in 1797. Their children are:

11, Luther E. He appeared on the census of 19 July 1860 at Liberty, Frederick Co., Maryland; listed as 58 years old. He appeared on the census of August 1870 at Liberty, Frederick Co., Maryland; listed as a retired farmer, 68 years old and born in Maryland. Value of real estate listed as $11500 and personal property valued at $5200.

     Stephen Adrian Harn was born circa 1864.¹ He was born in March 1864 at Illinois; Birthdate data from the 1900 Federal Census in Illinois. He was the son of Levi (Lewis) Harn and Emily Burgess. Stephen Adrian Harn married Mary Blodgett. Stephen Adrian Harn died on 4 July 1947 at age 83. He died circa 1967.¹

     Sylvester Harn was born on 1 January 1855 at Fulton Co., Illinois.^2,3 He was the son of Levi (Lewis) Harn and Emily Burgess. Sylvester Harn married Florence L. McCumber, daughter of Charles McCumber and Mary E. Weaver, on 6 December 1888 at Fulton Co., Illinois.⁴ Sylvester Harn died on 5 February 1899 at age 44.³ He was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lewistown, Fulton Co., Illinois.²

     Theodore Columbus Harn was born on 29 March 1857 at Frederick Co., Maryland.^1,2 He was the son of William Allen Harn and Ruth Spurrier. Theodore Columbus Harn married Cora Ellen Rust, daughter of Jonathan Rush and Hanna (?), on 29 June 1875 at Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio.¹ Theodore Columbus Harn died on 19 February 1925 at Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio, at age 67.^3,4 He was buried on 21 February 1925 at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio.⁵

     Thomas Eveland Harn was born on 21 March 1896 at Waterford Twsp., Fulton Co., Illinois.¹ He married Lola Woods, daughter of Ralph Woods and Laura (?). Thomas Eveland Harn was the son of Charles Wesley Harn and Katherine B. Eveland. Thomas Eveland Harn died on 2 January 1974 at Lewistown, Fulton Co., Illinois, at age 77.¹ He was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lewistown, Fulton Co., Illinois.²

     Thomas Sillingsby Harn was born on 3 June 1794 at Fairview Farm, Carroll Co., Maryland.^1,2 He was the son of Caleb (II) Harn and Sally Davis. Thomas Sillingsby Harn married Priscilla Fleming on 3 November 1814.² Thomas Sillingsby Harn married Mary Miller circa 1851.^3,2 Thomas Sillingsby Harn died on 28 June 1871 at age 77.^1,2 He died on 28 June 1882 at age 88.³

     Thornton Fleming Harn II was born on 17 January 1857 at Moravia, Appanoose Co., Iowa.^1,2 He was the son of Thornton Fleming Harn and Martha Anne Cumpston. Thornton Fleming Harn II married Phoebe Laura Dayton, daughter of Oscar Dayton and Delilah (?), on 10 September 1878 at Beloit, Mitchell Co., Kansas. Thornton Fleming Harn II was buried circa February 1933 at Scottsville Cemetery, Scottsville, Mitchell Co., Kansas.³ He died on 4 February 1933 at Scottsville, Mitchell Co., Kansas, at age 76.¹
     He appeared on the census of 14 April 1930 at Scottsville, Mitchell Co., Kansas. Thornton Fleming Harn II was a Baptist.

The following obituary was taken from The Beloit Gazette newspaper (Kansas), 08 Feb 1933, pg 8, column 2-3.
Thornton Fleming Harn was born January 17, 1857 at Moravia, Iowa. At the age of 17 he came to Mitchell county, Kansas and for a few years lived on a small farm in the edge of Scottsville and later moved into town where he owned and operated a general store for 35 years. On October 9, 1878 he was married to Lora Phoebe Dayton at Beloit and to them were born three children: Mary Ellen West and Sadie Alice Carter of Concordia and Earl Eaden Harn of Murphysboro, Ill.
As a lad Mr. Harn became a member of the Baptist church of Scottsville and here retained his membership until the church was disbanded then he moved his membership to the First Baptist church of Concordia where it remained until his death which occurred at four o'clock in the morning of Feb. 4, 1933 in the 77th year of his life.
For many years he was a member of the Masonic order of Scottsville. He leaves besides his widow and three children, four grandchildren and one brother, H.M. Harn of Stockton, Kansas; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Pence of Moravia, Iowa. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W.R. Holt, of Concordia on Sunday afternoon at 2:39 at the home in Scottsville and burial was in the Scottsville cemetery.

     Tyler Duval Harn was born on 2 December 1863 at Rose Hill, Harris Co., Texas.¹ He was the son of William Tyler Duval Harn and Mary Agnes Duer. Tyler Duval Harn was born on 2 December 1864 at Rose Hill, Harris Co., Texas.² He died circa 30 December 1893.¹
      Tyler Duval Harn was a Railroad. The cause of death was he accidentally shot himself.
