     Mary Catherine Harn was born on 20 February 1866 at Faribault, Rice Co., Minnesota.¹ She was the daughter of Calvin Davis Harn and Rachel Ruple (Rupel). Mary Catherine Harn was buried circa 1957 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, San Diego, San Diego Co., California.¹ She died on 31 January 1957 at San Diego, San Diego Co., California, at age 90.¹

Mary Priscilla Harn married Peter David Pence, son of Robert Daniel Pence and Jane Fisher, on 10 March 1874 at Centerville, Appanoose Co., Iowa.² Mary Priscilla Harn died on 13 November 1938 at age 85.¹ She died on 30 November 1938 at Moravia, Appanoose Co., Iowa, at age 86.²
     Her married name was Pence. She appeared on the census of 12 July 1880 at Taylor Twsp., Appanoose Co., Iowa; Mary listed as 28 years old and born in Pennsylvania. She lived in 1933 at Moravia, Appanoose Co., Iowa.

Another pioneer resident of Appanoose county admits that existence in the early days was rather strenuous, but she can look back and find much of pleasure in the early days. Mrs. P. D. Pence, of Moravia, contributes the following:
I am one of Appanoose county pioneers and am glad of it. I was born in Green county, Pennsylvania, the year of 1852, came to Iowa, Appanoose county, with my parents in the fall of 1856. Took the boat at Brownsville, on the Mongahala River floated down into the Ohio, then the Mississippi, landed at Keokuk, Iowa. We were met there with team and came across the country to five miles east of Moravia at a cousin of mine, Charley Hughes, who lived in a little log cabin. The woods around were great. We were there some time. Father and Charley had to have a hunt, woods full of wild game, soon had a deer and other game.
Later on we moved in to Moravia. Not much of a town, some little log houses here and there. As a little girl I used to stand at the window and watch the tumble weeds roll across the prairie, sometimes would come one, two, three, and then a bunch go on for miles. There were no fences to catch them.
Winters were cold. Father soon went to his trade making boots and shoes. There was a great demand for them. He soon had to hire help. Mother would bind the shoes by hand. A few years later, father went to selling goods and that got to be a good business. Our goods were hauled from Ottumwa. Those days the people were busy trying to get the people clothed. Women were busy at the spinning wheel and knitting, they were not invited out to tea and clubs as they are nowadays. We were invited … to wool pickings and sewing … to make clothing for the needy children, while the mother … the cloth. They were happy … though. Mother's health … very good … homes … back east … a hir… the ….

     Mary Wharton Harn was born on 18 July 1898.¹ She was the daughter of Carroll Duval Harn and Mary Whorton Cole.

     Maryann Delores Harn was born on 14 September 1960 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California.² She was the daughter of Kenneth Eugene Harn and Blanca Esther Oviedo. Maryann Delores Harn married William Knightlinger in 1980 at San Pedro, Los Angeles Co., California.^3,4 Maryann Delores Harn died on 7 February 1982 at Carson City, Carson City Co., Nevada, at age 21.^3,4 She was buried on 12 February 1982 at North Hollywood, Los Angeles Co., California.⁴
      As of 1980,her married name was Knightlinger. Her married name was Harn-Kightlinger. Maryann Dolores was seven months pregnant when she died. The cause of death was shot in the head and died almost instantly.

     Mathias Harn was born at Carroll Co., Maryland.^1,2 He married Amelia Shipley. Mathias Harn was the son of John (I) Harn and Dorcas (Darcus) Davis.

     Matthew Harn is the son of Paul David Harn and Maricella Sanchez.¹

     Mattie D. Harn was born on 26 August 1876.¹ She was the daughter of William Tyler Duval Harn and Mary Agnes Duer.¹ Mattie D. Harn married Frank S. Booher circa 1905.¹ Mattie D. Harn died on 3 June 1924 at age 47.¹
     Her married name was Booher.¹ She appeared on the census of 6 January 1920 at Waco, McLennan Co., Texas; Hattie Booher listed in the 1920 Federal Census in Texas, page 7501, listed as 44 years old born in Texas, enumerated with husband and three children.

     May Harn was born in 1875 at Pennsylvania; estimated birth date from 1880 Census. She was the daughter of Thornton Harn and Margaret (?).

     May Belle Harn was born in 1903 at Texas; estimated year of birth from 1920 Texas Census. She was the daughter of Camp Collins Harn and Margaret Morris.
     May Belle Harn appeared on the census of 6 January 1920 at Austin, Travis Co., Texas; lists Margaret Harn as head-of-household, widow, 50 years old and born in Texas; daughter Lucile 30 years old, born in Texas, music teacher and single; son Morris 28 years old, born in Texas and single; son Collins 23 years old, born in Texas and single; daughter May Belle 17 years old and born in Texas.

     Melvin Harn was born on 28 November 1861.¹ He was the son of Perry O. Harn and Mary Tuite. Melvin Harn died on 19 March 1865 at age 3.¹
