     Horatio Harn was born at Maryland. He was the son of John (I) Harn and Dorcas (Darcus) Davis.

     Hugh Valentine (Aubry) Harn was born on 14 February 1891 at Winona, Winona Co., Minnesota.² He was the son of Herbert Elden Harn and Alice M. Sackett. Hugh Valentine (Aubry) Harn died on 15 May 1937 at US Veterans Hospital, near Ft. Snelling, Hennepin Co., Minnesota, at age 46.³
      Hugh Valentine (Aubry) Harn was a Attorney. He graduated in 1916 at University of Iowa, Iowa. He appeared on the census of April 1930 at Morningside, Hennepin Co., Minnesota. He lived in April 1931 at 4221 Crocker Ave., Morningside, Hennepin Co., Minnesota.⁴ Hugh Valentine (Aubry) Harn was a Episcopalian.

Hugh Val Harn was born at Winona, Minnesota, on February 14, 1891. Of Walsh and English ancestry, he was the son of Herbert and Alice Harn. His early education was obtained in the City of his birth, and in the grades and high schools at Mason City, Iowa. In 1912, after three years as a student at the University of Wisconsin, he entered the University of Iowa, and graduated from its law department in 1916. In the latter institution he had the distinction of election to the presidency of the senior law class. A clipping from a Mason City newspaper of that time refers to him as having been among the best as high school student, a leader at the University of Wisconsin, an outstanding personage in law school, and a young man of promise, highly regarded in the community. During vacations he had worked as a reporter on the Globe Gazette of Mason City, and enjoyed the esteem of his employer.
Upon attaining the age of twenty-one he was admitted into the Masonic Lodge in that place, all officers participating in the ceremony being past masters. Mr. Harn was admitted to the Bar of Iowa in 1916, and at about the same time was made Secretary of the local Chamber of Commerce.
On July 25, 1918 he enlisted for service in the World War, and served as a member of Iowa Company A, Third Regiment. At the time of his discharge he was a private at Headquarters Detachment, Camp Gordon, Georgia. There he taught marksmanship, having been given medals for his skill in that art while a member of the Mason City Guards.
In 1923 Mr. Harn came to Minneapolis, was admitted to the Bar of this State, and was received into the real estate office of Nickels and Smith by the late Fred G. Smith. From that time, and nearly as long as he was able to be active, he was occupied both as a lawyer and in the real estate business in the Nickels and Smith office, where he had been elected one of the officers and directors of the corporation. He was a hard worker, and his law practice was largely an office practice of real property law.
In religious faith he was an Episcopalian, having been baptized at Winona by Bishop Thurston. He united with a church of that denomination at Mason City, and was a communicant of St. Mark's Church in Minneapolis at the time of his decease. For quite a good many months before his passing, which occurred on May 16, 1937 at the United States Veterans Hospital near Fort Snelling, he was not at his best; and for some time was unable to go to his off at all.
As a business friend the writer of this paper knew him well during most of the period of his residence in Minneapolis, and had many business contacts with him; and now looks back upon him as one of the most loyal of friends.

     Ida Harn was born circa 1883. She was the daughter of Milton Hamilton Harn and American Olivia Hackett. Ida Harn married George Perkins.
     Her married name was Perkins.

     Ida Rebecca Harn was born on 26 October 1858 at Frederick Co., Maryland.¹ She was the daughter of James William Harn and Mary Hanna Fitch. Ida Rebecca Harn died on 17 February 1877 at Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio, at age 18.¹ She was buried on 18 February 1877 at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio.²

     Infant Harn was born on 28 May 1905 at Baltimore, Baltimore City Co., Maryland.¹ Infant Harn was the child of Dalton Ernen Harn and Clara Jane Scheller. Infant Harn died on 30 May 1905.¹

     Ira Baker Harn was born on 15 November 1835 at Frederick Co., Maryland.^1,2 He was the son of William Allen Harn and Ruth Spurrier. Ira Baker Harn married Ranzella Necola Fitch, daughter of Henry R. Fitch and Mary A. (?), on 4 October 1866 at Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio.¹ Ira Baker Harn was buried circa 1896 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio. He died on 27 October 1896 at Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio, at age 60.¹ He was buried on 29 October 1896 at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio.³
     He appeared on the census of 9 June 1880 at Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio; lists Ira De Harn as 45 years old, born in Maryland, carpenter; wife Neocia N. Harn as 36 years old, born in Ohio; son Orlando Harn 9 years old and born in Ohio. Ellen Dorcas Harn Manuscript. In Civil War, 93rd Ohio Volunteers, Company A. Ira and Ranzella's first boy, died at age of 3-years.

     Irene (Eva) Harn was born on 15 April 1861 at Fulton Co., Illinois.³ She was the daughter of Jonathan Harn and Mary Levingston. Irene (Eva) Harn died on 13 June 1888 at Fulton Co., Illinois, at age 27.³ She was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lewistown, Fulton Co., Illinois.³
     She appeared on the census of 15 June 1880 at Waterford Twsp., Fulton Co., Ohio; list Sarah as 19 years old, born in Illinois, housekeeper, enumerated with her parents.

     Irma Harn married Lyle Burgett. Irma Harn married Clyde Bradley. Irma Harn was born circa 1896. She was the daughter of Christopher Harn and Mary Levingston.

     Isaac Harn was born in 1850.¹ He was the son of Lloyd Harn and Susannah H. Ish. Isaac Harn died on 25 November 1863.^2,1

     Italia Vanzola Harn was born on 1 March 1863 at Moravia, Appanoose Co., Iowa.^1,2 She was the daughter of Thornton Fleming Harn and Martha Anne Cumpston. Italia Vanzola Harn married Cyrus Madison Kellogg on 28 April 1881 at Beloit, Mitchell Co., Kansas.¹ Italia Vanzola Harn died on 21 December 1899 at Evansville, Washington Co., Arkansas, at age 36.¹

     Jane Delano Harn was born on 5 February 1912 at Oklahoma.^2,3 She was the daughter of George Upton Harn III and Margaret Luella Jones. Jane Delano Harn married Billy P. Jane Delano Harn, born February 5, 1912, died the morning of January 24, 1990 of a heart attack. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy P. McCarty on November 27, 1968. Mrs. McCarty is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth J. McCarty Bradford and Luella F. McCarty Lakin; her son-in-law, Ron Lakin; and three grandchildren, Jennifer Kyle Bradford, Jason Patrick Lakin and John Russell Lakin. Mrs. McCarty was an active member of the Oklahoma Zoological Society since 1980 when she became a member of the board of Trustees. She was also Chairman of the Library and Keeper of the Archives for the Society. Another one of her endeavors was the restoration of the Harn Homestead which was turned over to a private Non-profit organization in 1986. Mrs. McCarty was an important part of everyone's life she touched. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, whom loved so dearly. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, January 26, 1990 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Under the direction of HAHN-COOK/STREET & DRAPER.
