     Myron Sellon Purdy was born on 10 January 1862.¹ He was the son of John Willets Purdy and Mary Rosetta Sellon. Myron Sellon Purdy married Carrie Coykendall in 1887. Myron Sellon Purdy died on 29 May 1950 at age 88.¹

Marvin, daughter of Ezra Marvin and Hulda (?), on 21 January 1851. Oliver Wood Purdy married Laura Etta Rolfe on 28 December 1899 at Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota. Oliver Wood Purdy died on 2 April 1917 at Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota, at age 87.⁵ He was buried at Hope Cemetery, Featherstone Twsp., Goodhue Co., Minnesota.

Oliver Wood Purdy, Resident of Goodhue County since 1876, dies at age of 87 years. In the death of Oliver Wood Purdy, which occurred Monday evening at 7:45 o'clock, at his home, 421 Fourth street, Goodhue county lose another one of its pioneer settlers. Mr. Purdy had been in feeble health for the past two years and for several weeks past had been in a critical condition. He was 87 years old.
Born in Tompkins county, New York, on Jan. 14, 1830, Mr. Purdy came West with his family in 1867, settling first in Wisconsin, near the town of Gratiot, in 1867. In 1876 he came to Minnesota and purchased a farm in Goodhue township. Here he lived until 1888, when he acquired a farm on Featherstone prairie. Two years later he retired from active work on the farm and moved to Red Wing. His first wife died many years ago. In 1900 he was married to Lauretta Rolfe, who with one daughter, Mrs. Grant Featherstone of this city, survive him. A sister, Mrs. Henrietta Van Kirk, of Ithaca, N.Y., the last of a family of twelve children, also left to mourn his loss. He was a member of the Masonic order of this city. The funeral services will be held Thursday.

     Paul Bradley Purdy was born on 31 July 1889 at West Superior, Douglas Co., Wisconsin.¹ He was the son of Charles M. Purdy and Margaret Bradley. Paul Bradley Purdy married Lila Sophia Shapton on 24 November 1915 at Flint, Genesee Co., Michigan. Paul Bradley Purdy died on 22 March 1974 at age 84.² He was buried on 25 March 1974 at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Genesee Co., Michigan.²
     He lived in 1973 at Flint, Genesee Co., Michigan.

     Peter Angevine Purdy was born on 16 January 1783.¹ He was the son of Gabriel Purdy and Esther Angevine.¹
