She lived in 1946 at Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., Minnesota. Stella lived in Minneapolis when sister Elizabeth died in 1960. As of 4 November 1964,her married name was Kerr.⁵

He appeared on the census of 18 April 1930 at St. Paul, Ramsey Co., Minnesota; listed as 46 years old, born in Minnesota, 39 years old when married, occupation of civil engineer. The 1920 Polk's St. Paul City Directory, page 1055, lists Stephen J. Nestaval as a draftsman for Druar & Smith; and residing at Forest Lake, Minnesota.
