     Urith Mannahan was born on 25 May 1834.¹ She married Wesley Jaleel Harn, son of Singleton Wesley Harn and Maria Cordelia Harn, on 14 October 1858 at Frederick Co., Maryland.² Urith Mannahan died on 14 November 1874 at age 40.¹
     Her married name was Harn. She appeared on the census of 19 July 1860 at Liberty, Franklin Co., Maryland; listed as 23 years old. She appeared on the census of August 1870 at Liberty, Frederick Co., Maryland; Urath listed as 34 years old and born in Maryland. Wesley and Urith had one child that died in infancy. Optional spellings of names Urith/Eureth.

     Carlos Daniel Manriquez married Josefa Catalan.

     Francisca Celia Manriquez was born on 9 March 1913 at Basis, Sinaloa, Mexico.¹ She was the daughter of Carlos Daniel Manriquez and Josefa Catalan. Francisca Celia Manriquez married Jose Marcelo Oviedo, son of Antonio Atancio Oviedo and Jesus D. Almada, on 17 January 1931 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California.¹ Francisca Celia Manriquez died on 2 November 1996 at Los Alamitos, Orange Co., California, at age 83.² She was buried in November 1996 at Resurrection Cemetery, San Gabriel, Los Angeles Co., California.²
     Her married name was Oviedo.

     Miranda Mae Marchant was born on 8 May 1894 at Redfield, Spink Co., South Dakota.¹ She married Charles Abiel Wilson Sr. on 25 November 1913 at Redfield, Spink Co., South Dakota. Miranda Mae Marchant died on 12 October 1980 at Redfield, Spink Co., South Dakota, at age 86.¹
     Her married name was Wilson.

     Wilhelmina Marcolas was born on 8 March 1847 at Langen Hangen Pomro, Germany.¹ She married Herman Kalien circa 1874 at Wisconsin.¹ Wilhelmina Marcolas died circa December 1931.¹

     Emma E. Marshall was born on 27 December 1853.¹ She married Langdon Harn, son of Levi (Lewis) Harn and Emily Burgess. Emma E. Marshall died on 28 April 1914 at Fulton Co., Illinois, at age 60.² She was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lewistown, Fulton Co., Illinois.²
     Her married name was Harn.

     Amanda C. Marvin was born on 13 July 1830 at Tompkins Co., New York.³ She was the daughter of Ezra Marvin and Hulda (?). Amanda C. Marvin married Oliver Wood Purdy, son of David Purdy and Elizabeth Ann Hopkins, on 21 January 1851. Amanda C. Marvin died on 17 January 1899 at Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota, at age 68.⁴ She was buried on 19 January 1899 at Hope Cemetery, Featherstone Twsp., Goodhue Co., Minnesota.⁵
     Her married name was Purdy.

Mrs. Oliver W. Purdy, died at 4:30 o'clock, this morning, at her home in Featherstone. She was born in the state of New York and about 68 years old. She has been a resident of this county of over twenty years. She leaves a husband and one daughter to mourn her death. The funeral service will be held at the residence on Thursday morning, at 10:30 o'clock, and at the church at Featherstone at 11 o'clock.

In Memoriam, Amanda C. Purdy, wife of Oliver W. Purdy. Amanda C. Marvin was born in Tompkins county, N.Y., July 13, 1830, and died at her home in Featherstone, Jan. 17, 1899; age, 68 years, 6 months and 4 days. On Jan. 21, 1851, she was united in marriage to Oliver Purdy, who, with one daughter, remains to mourn. The family moved from Wisconsin to this state in 1876, and soon after settled on a farm in Featherstone, where success and prosperity attended their toil.
She was a woman of peculiar tact and grace; endowed as she was with a cheerful disposition, and a cultivated mind, she won the hearts of all whom she came in contact with. She had the rare gift of adapting herself to her surroundings and environments. With a company of children and youth, she was one of them, and would fully enter into their pleasures and enjoyments; with those who were weary and faltering in the conflict of every day life, her cheerful words and looks always gave courage strength and hope; with the sorrowing- and much there is all about us- she was the angel of mercy who, unasked would come into the stricken home, and with words and deeds of love, bring a ray of light and hope, to the afflicted ones. She was of strong religious disposition and dearly loved the house of God, and was in her place there, even after health had failed. She was one of those queenly characters well fitted to fill any position in the land, but her home was her throne, and right royally did she reign there. The funeral services were conducted by her paster, Rev. Cahoon, assisted by her former pastor, Rev. H.J. Harrington.
